Uma, the owner, confirmed this in writing in an email (see attached). My daughter and I showed up early (8:50 am). At 9:12 am we walked to the building and the doors were locked. I forwarded Uma her own email and asked if we needed to reschedule. No response, and the door to the business was still locked at 9:15, our scheduled time. My daughter and I waited for 10 minutes. A car pulled in around 9:28 with a man and a woman inside, but I had no idea who they were. The woman went in while the man carried a bag for her, but I've never seen Uma, so I do not know if that was her. So we left. She called me at 9:33--after our session was supposed to start--asking if I was still coming. She claimed she had 9:30 in her calendar, as if that overrides what she sent me in writing. What bothered me most was not the mix-up but the unprofessional way she handled it. Her email after the fact was passive-aggressive, no real apology, and telling me not to book with her again. I didn't get the service I paid for because she was not on time, and somehow, she still tried to make it my fault for not waiting around even longer.
