Chad and Vanessa are down to Earth, kind, and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Our photos match exactly how we felt about our day: pure bliss! Preparing for our trip, the Outlovers checked in with us at every step of the way from the moment we reached out to them to the morning of our elopement. They guided us on exactly what to pack and made sure we were prepared for any weather, which came in handy when we unexpectedly encountered chilly winds and light rain. They even brought along items that we would never think of or couldn't logistically bring in a suitcase. They helped to configure the backpack to carry the suit the morning of the elopement and pulled out an umbrella for us to use, in addition to our rain jackets. They even went out of their way to help with an elaborate surprise and preserve our picnic during travel. Chad and Vanessa are more than just photographers. They helped us plan our trip and provided advice on where to visit and what to do, even when we weren't with them. They were our expert hiking guides, leading us on our drive up the mountain and through the dark with our headlamps on to our sunrise ceremony spot. Even as we raced to catch sunrise, they helped keep the mood light and made sure we never lost sight of the reason for the day. They have such an obvious passion for the outdoors and that helped us appreciate the experience that much more. We couldn't have chosen a better pair than Chad and Vanessa to accompany us on our special day!

*Honest, Punctual, COMMITTED services*…read more Words cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Vanessa and Chad, The Outlovers. In April, we decided to leave New Jersey and elope in the west due to Covid. Since we were no longer able to have that 'traditional wedding' we did something we never were able to dream of - get married in a national park. After days of research I found the Outlovers and their services. Initially, I was quite skeptical because I was allowing strangers out west to pull off my dream wedding without ever meeting them. However, they overdelivered! The Outlovers encouraged zoom meetings instead of calls so we can have that personal connection. They have a wonderful wedding guide with a questionnaire so it helps them plan our vision perfectly. I would randomly text Vanessa day and night pictures of charcuterie and cakes and she would get in touch with vendors for me. Vanessa also encouraged me to send all my wedding materials directly to her home so she can organize and deliver them safely to me on my wedding day. It felt like she was my personal assistant / therapist for 2 months! As for the location, they suggested a few places with full description of the surroundings. Chad even went to the location a few times and sent us videos so we could 'feel' this was the right place for us. The location was NOT easy to get to and very remote, he was so committed. On top of all of this they invited us out for lunch to meet a couple days prior to the wedding. Instantly, we connected with their down to earth personalities. They had quite the experience of spontaneity and it really help calm our nerves. I think this worked out so well because Vanessa shared with us that she had never attended a 'traditional wedding'. Her take on things were SO refreshing and really put me at ease. There were no rules, there was no pressure, it was just us and free spirit flowing around us. I never thought a couple of strangers would sleep in their car the night before ( due to unfortunate weather circumstances!) to show up to my room at 130am, hike and drive in the desert at 3am, to marry us at sunrise. The commitment and sacrifices theoutlovers made for us were huge. And lastly, our photos captured all the love that was shared from our wedding day. Honestly, without these photos we would have nothing to share with our family at home. Chad was able to hit all the right moments at the right time. So much candid love. He also provided breathtaking landscapes of our surroundings so we can show our loved ones our venue. Chad is a talented artist and creates exquisite work. We have zero regrets choosing The Outlovers. We will cherish our wedding experience forever because of them :)

Huge Move for large family!…read more Our family had used her services for family pictures and restorations before so we were familiar with her work. We knew she did home decor and event planning, so we hired her to coordinate a big move from Utah (7 bedroom house) to Florida. The hassle of coordinating movers, flying out, and organizing, decorating and setting up in a new place was overwhelming, plus we know Patrice has a knack for details and directing large events. Took a leap with her. She was AMAZING. She booked our flights so that we'd arrive right before movers with our stuff. She even rebooked one of our college age kids who couldn't make original flight. He got there before us. The next day she had 10 hands like worker bees as she directed where all things went, decoration, window treatment, pantries, closets, linens, even pool guy was there setting pool up. Took 3 days, but we literally went to Epcot and stayed overnight. When we returned, we were completely and functionally moved in, with gate and garage remotes, kitchen setup and stocked, clothing in closets and dressers, rental cars parked in the garage, and a master design map laying out where everything goes including local community info, traffic flow patterns, and golf club membership package. This was about 10k more than if our kids and us did it ourselves, but we saved greatly on stress, effort, and long learning curve. Our boys and girls were able to jump right into their routine. My husband was at his medical practice without skipping a beat. If you need to coordinate a big move consider her design and event planning services. She does more than weddings. And she is awesome.

Patrice is a good photographer. Not the best by any means but still a decent one…read more Pictures turned out OK. Some were better than others. But I'm not complaining about the pictures. It's the services afterwards... First of all, correspondence was very difficult. For a while, there was no response, regardless of how many times text and emails were sent. Finally, when it came time to see the prints, we had to go to her apartment and basically, I told her the ones I liked and disliked and the edits that needed to be done. She wrote them on a random piece of paper. Very unprofessional and made me nervous. Again, it took weeks for her to do the edits. And once again, after many failed attempts at touching base, she finally sent edits- but they were not impressive! Wrong prints edited and the edits that were done were shoddy. Got that taken care of and then it took another few weeks (and again, poor communication) to finally receive the order I placed. The orders were wrong. Got some prints and some were missing. And missing prints were going to be gifts so it took again texting back and forth to get it right. It took 2 tries to get all my orders. She messed it up the first time so had to send out another order to correct the ones she missed. Overall, decent photographer but the hassle of working with her afterward is NOT worth it at all! Customer service should be key and it definitely was not the case! I would definitely shop around for another photographer.
