We teach discipline, focus, goal setting, perseverance, respect, time management, etc. through fitness, dance, yoga, music, and the performing arts. The participants learn how to grow past their limits and establish habits that will serve them in their education, career, and personal relationships. They learn both academically and viscerally what it takes to make impossible things possible. We run long term programs that last anywhere from one month to three months to year round. We also teach short term master classes and workshops with an understanding that you must develop discipline and focus beyond the workshop over the course of months. All of our programs are conducted by certified Promethean Spark Life Coaches. We invite organizations serving at risk youth to partner with us so that we can provide programming that builds youth and their futures. Without that, it tends to get bogged down and go on for years. Life Coaching -- and specifically that done by Cynthia Wand -- is a short term, highly effective method of getting unstuck. In four short weeks of long two-hour sessions, Cynthia helped me move past issues that had me bogged down for years. She gives homework (fun homework!) and reading to do in-between, and exercises to practice with your loved ones. Cynthia is pure love, insight and wisdom. She also teaches Yoga, so if you are turned off by mantras, breathing, and discussion of chakras she may not be the one for you.
