What a great place! I just moved to town and decided to give this spot a try, and I'm so glad I did. I'm pretty picky when it comes to pizza, but this one definitely delivered. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and the service is great. The pizza has perfectly crunchy edges with a soft, fluffy middle, and it's always warm, cheesy, and full of flavor. I've been here twice now, and on my second visit I tried a few different toppings every single one was good. Their salad is also really solid. 1st time visit went solo at 230pm on Monday 6/1/26. It's 15 miles north from my house took 25min with light traffic so it's way outa my usual area but wanted to finally try their alleged 8 corner deep dish Detroit style pizza as advertised with pics of unbelievable crispy crust. This is the only Jets pizza in San Antonio. Well the place is located in an itty bitty space with just a small entry area with only a few seats along the wall where peeps can eat a slice. Place was clean & inviting having ZERO customers. There was 2 staff that eventually came out from the back room area & took my custom order as seen on my enclosed invoice. Each topping is $2.98 each whether it's veggie or protein. (Kinda discourages ordering supreme like toppings) Pizza alone without tax was $38.95 & is kinda outrageous if u ask me but went along for the ride. Got a small Greek salad with ranch dressing peoples past reviews craved about. Didn't have to wait too long considering I was the only customer. Well as not a surprise opened the pizza box lid that didn't reveal the crisp brown caramelized cust as depicted on all their advertising. I have to say though I did enjoy my selection of toppings but unfortunately didn't notice ANY sesame seeds on the crust as requested. One would think for spending almost $40 for pizza they could share some sesame seeds lol.. the Greek salad was great & loved the minimalist slices of beets provided & the ranch dressing was deliciously delectable. Pizza had about 8 pieces & just 2 pieces filled me up so there's plenty of leftovers if ya wanna look at it that way to spread out that enormous pizza price over several meals throughout the rest of the week. I really enjoyed my pizza's flavors & was very filling having my numerous "supreme" like toppings. Doubt I'll be a frequent visitor since it's way outa my way & not being so reasonably priced. Staff was pleasant & they applied a 15% pizza discount that barely affected my thoughts of immediately returning. All in all great pizza & salad but wished the pizza crust coulda been duplicated as advertised otherwise likely no real difference to anyone else's deep dish except their outrageous price. I just got back from a short vacation and I was feeling hangry so I decided to order pizza online for pickup instead of dining in at a pizza restaurant. I proceeded to order online and I was not able to complete my order. I have ordered from Jets Pizza before and know I'm an exclusive reward member. I didn't remember my password so I had to get it reset by them sending me an email; email never came. Major frustration! So I called them up and said what pizza I was trying to order ( promo code) I was trying to use. Long story short I was able to get the promo. I was told the website is "corporate." Delivery jets pizza I ordered the meatlovers special. I ordered a small but they were out of small dough so they called me immediately and they gave me the option of making it a large or split my pizza in half and get the vegetarian half for my wife. The delivery time was scheduled for an hour, but it took about 40 minutes overall I was happy with my pizzas. read more

I'll save everyone a lot of trouble and a lot of time. I was born and raised in Detroit and the owners of this Jet's Pizza was down the street from where I lived. You're not going to get a more authentic pizza than Jet's. Do yourself a favor and get the Detroit style. I wouldn't mess around with the round or anything else. Not that it's not good but the shining star is the Detroit square Sicilian style. Add whatever toppings you want, you can't go wrong. The Hawaiian is excellent but I like their Jet-10 with all the toppings. It's so filling I usually can't finish more than two slices. The best part is with those delicious caramelized crispy edges they heat up like a dream the next day in the air fryer or the toaster oven. It was a treat to find that my favorite pizza chain growing up was right here in Stone Oak. Y'all don't know how lucky you have it. I've lived in various places around the country and you can't get authentic or good Detroit style pizza outside of Detroit. * A fun little sidenote. If you happen to get the Greek salad you'll notice there are slices of beets on there. It's a staple in the Detroit area for any Greek salad. I've had people look at me like what are those red little circles on my salad. Those my friends are delicious beets. They are good for you and they are necessary. This is our go to pizza take-out spot. It is nice because it is in the neighborhood but really is good pizza. They have a good app that I normally use to order but you can call in also. I like the NY style but my fam prefers the hand tossed, they have deep dish also. Plus for those who like ranch with their pizza, they make the best. I am so disappointed in this place. I called an order in for pickup a little after their rush- but it was my cram time to get a meal for my family of 5 on the table. I called Jet's because I tried them once or twice before and then put their number in my phone as the spot to call on the fly when we feel like pizza. I'm a loyal person after all... Well I get there 5-10mins after the pies should be done based on their estimates and they aren't. As I wait I'm told one of the pizzas is burnt and they will have to remake it. In the moment I asked can I 'get it anyway or is it burnt-burnt' (it's the 13th hour of my 15 hour work day ... and seriously I just needed to get some food home). I'm told sorry but we will make it right. So fast forward 15mins later (when it was estimated to be done in 8-10mins) I am told it is still not ready due to someone putting the wrong toppings on it. For me this is not okay. Mind you - they aren't rushing and very chit chatty with one another ... there's 4 of them and it appears that it's cutting time for at least one of them to go home due to the reduction in business volume. Either they allow the workers to take home pizzas that are 'messed up' or most of them are high and working under the influence. In my opinion, clearly they have lost touch with the patrons who come in at 8pm to feed their tribe. To top it off - I paid full price for my ticket after waiting the time of 3 orders and I still have to go home and work another hour or before I can be "off". After all they could not have me discounted if - they already "wasted" 2-3 pizzas to make my 1... Something is really wrong at this location... and not only am I not going back I'm deleting their number from my phone. I passed up plenty of food places that will tend to my patronage with professionalism. Other food places might understand the grind of having to hustle and come in to pay good money (that's made from hard work) only to be let down for what I suspect is directly related to their bullshit management... In my never ending quest for a quality slice / pizza pie in San Antonio, I was introduced to Jet's by someone who coined them as the "non-chain" pizza option in the area. As it turns out, they have a bunch of locations all throughout the state but with only one location in Stone Oak. That didn't deter me since they specialize in one of my favorite regional pizza variations: detroit style pizza. No lie, the pizza reminds me a bit of Little Caesar's, only a lot more expensive (#1). It has some elements of the detroit style, with the crispy cheesy crust edges and square cut. My pepperoni had a good bite to it, but it was pretty average at best as was the hawaiian style. It was plenty greasy and the sauce was somewhat mediocre. In the grand scheme of pizzadom I'd put it somewhere in the middle, which makes it ideal for drunk eats situation or a casual gathering with no regard for the food. The service was good and the pizzas were done fairly quickly. I understand the place is primarily takeout and/or delivery, as there is really no where to sit. We were in the mood for pizza and we decided to give Jet's Pizza a try. Made an on-line order of the Detroit-style "8 corners" pepperoni pizza with pickled jalapeños and a Romano cheese crust. Also, ordered the deep dish bread with Italian sausage and pizza sauce for dipping. I arrived at the time indicated on the order and my order was ready! Everything was hot and prepared as ordered. It smelled so good, I was tempted to sample while driving, but resisted the temptation! We loved the crunchy crust of the pizza and there was plenty of toppings on our pizza. Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! This pizza was damn good. Ordered online for pickup and it was done in less than 20 mins. I ordered the Aloha pizza with grilled chicken, pineapples, bacon and mozzarella. All ingredients tasted fresh. Ordered the "square pizza" which is similar to a deep dish. The crust had a slight crisp when you bit into it, sounded great to my ears each bite. The large had 10 huge slices, enough for 4-6 people to eat. The pizza is good, but not the best in San Antonio. The thin crust is the best for me. The deep dish was good but don't expect Chicago-good. I would stay out of NY Style. Among us half liked it better than Domino's half prefer Domino's. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. Jet's is one of our go to places for pizza around our neighborhood. They've done such a great job during this COVID period. We had our usual deep dish pizza which is always delish and decided to try the NY style cheese pizza. The Cheese was different from the Chicago square deep dish and was tasty.
