I have several pieces of jewelry that are my go-to special occasion accents that I try to wear as much as possible. When I actually get my act together and head to the valley (which is a far too infrequent occurrence, if you ask my relatives), to visit Schor's is like being a kid in a candy shop... although I feel like a bull in a china shop, what with all the beautiful and precious items. Just being in the store itself is such a treat - everything is so lovely. I tend to stray towards the items that are out of my price range, but such is life, I guess. I pulled into the parking lot and the sign clearly states that part is only for the Jewelry Connection. Not wanting to start off on a bad foot, I backed out thinking their parking must be in the back. I drove around behind the store and there was no indication of any parking for the Gun Connection. I called to inquire where the parking might be found and was told that the parking was right in front, they are the same business. The indignant tone (as though I am the biggest idiot to not know that) put me off but I was determined to visit because I love gun shops and this might be my new go-to place. I went and parked in the front and entered the store only to find all jewelry and a fairly impressive Yeti collection. I asked where the gun store might be. I was pointed toward a door that was locked. I was told to go through that door so I tried it. Again, it was secured. I decided to leave stating it was clear this store does not want my business. The young man said thanks for stopping in and I was out of there. If this is ANY representation of their customer service, please stay away from this place!!!

Not impressed how they treated my daughter's friend when she was holding a Kendra Scott necklace. And when I went to buy her the necklace for her birthday (normally $58) we got a surprise when we were told $101 for the necklace. Asked about the reason for not a proper price tag on the necklace and was told they removed the tags because there was a price increase. We let them keep the necklace...
