Staff: Broken down my Therapy and Medical *Therapy side overall 4.5 stars- Desk was friendly, warm, thorough and professional (McCala) and have been seen by three therapist (Sara, Jason and Lee) that provides personable, thorough, and sometimes challenging therapy service. Overall, they all warm up to you quickly once they get know you and your personality. You choose how you want your relationship with them but I choose jovial. I have been and continue being helped and see a great improvement. *Medical side overall 3.5 star- Front desk is more professional, less personable and warm than Therapy side. Dr Rust and his nurse are the way I personally like it, to the point and available for you to ask questions. They will slow down as needed otherwise they will quickly move on. So don't hesitate to ask questions and slow them down if needed. The rad tech was professional and nice. Environment- 5 stars- The office building these offices are housed is nice, clean and bright. The Drs office has a decent sized waiting room but due to COVID, waiting outside in the hall area is a potential. Medical side has a nice electronic kiosk for checking in so you don't have to go to desk unless u have problems. Therapy side greats you and does check in via front desk staff. Medical Office has X-rays and a big plus, downstairs on first floor is MRI. One stop shopping basically! Therapy has a nice large workout room and basically up to two patients per therapist and at times your the only patient for your therapist. Forget about bringing your phone or put it in the patient shelves. They have TVs on one side of the wall so you never know what movie will be on (e.g. watched the original 1982 "Tron"....blast from the past). All staff both sides wiped everything down, took temp checks, wore masks, made u wash your hands in Therapy before starting, etc. Great hygienic practices.

An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! I feel like they get the science of PT as well as the art of being able to explain to each individual how to do the work/exercises to feel better faster. No gimmicks. No upsells. Just real, honest, workable action plans to put you back on your feet. Do you want to get better? Do you want to *really* get better? Stop looking and call these people. What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. Thanks to Ginny and Asha, my hips are so much stronger. Just as important, they taught me exactly what to keep doing at home so I can maintain the progress and keep improving. I'm now continuing pelvic floor physical therapy with Asha, and it has been incredibly helpful (to say the least!). Pelvic floor PT is so much more than I ever realized. I learn something new every session, and I've already noticed real improvements in my day-to-day life. Eddie at the front desk is always friendly and really helpful, and everything runs smoothly when it comes to scheduling and visits. My husband actually started physical therapy at Ability Rehab first, which is how I found them, and I'm so grateful he did.
