The smell was very subtle after an hour. Today I'm burning it in the living room and it's been an hour and I don't smell a scent. I'll burn for two more and see what happens. I spent $40 on this candle and I'm disappointed. I usually purchase candles from Yankee Candle and White Barn (Bath & Body's line) and after about 10-15 minutes you can smell it. Not this one.
