Great Customer Service but we paid over $100 for a freaking oil change! It was ridiculous! Definitely not coming back here again!

I took my car to the Jiffy Lube in Centerville, Virginia. I like going there because the employees are great. This time 10/15/2019 I needed The wiper blades replaced that I just bought and I asked Kamal if they would do that for me and he said yes, so while I was having my oil changed he replaced them. I then had them clean my injectors and he let me watch and he told me what was being done step by step. When all was done I asked how much I odd them for replacing my blades and he said no charge. I have been going there for a long time and they give me top rated service every time. I like dealing with them then going to Quick Lanes. The last time I was at Fords Quick Lanes and had my battery replaced they charge me extra for wire brushing the battery acid off of the battery terminals. I sent my teenage son to get an oil change and they charged him $99.99 to replace a $10 fuel filter (which involves loosening 2 nuts to remove the old filter and tighten 2 nuts to install the new filter....a 5 minute job...10 at the most!) I went back to complain and staff member was confrontational/defensive and said that $100 was the going price. I've been taking 3 vehicles to this Jiffy Lube for several years. Never again....I will find a shop with more reasonable prices and MUCH better customer service. The owner/manager should be ashamed of himself. read more

So I fell for their sign about repairing chips in windshields. My goal here is to save anyone from wasting their money. First off the chip is still there. I went back to question and the gentleman said the can't ensure the work and then went to ask the manager. The manager was right in front of my car reading something from his pocket and shook his head and sent the gentleman back. The manager couldn't even discuss with me my concerns--how rude! Everyone that works there is more than kind but they have guaranteed that I will never be back. Will continue my oil changes up the road. read more

So I returned to this shop after having two good previous experiences there. I must say that I won't be coming back. There is no posted list of services and prices. Hence, I was surprised by a recent increase in the cost of an oil change. The service was not anywhere as thorough as my first two times there. Vacuuming job was poor, as was window cleaning. With an $8 coupon, my oil change for my Sequoia was about $43. Yes, it was quick and convenient. But it was surprisingly expensive and there is no posted information of services and their costs. read more

I brought my car here after being told by the dealership that my brake pads and rotors needed immediate replacement. Jiffy lube quoted me half the price offered by the dealership. Jiffy lube inspected the brakes and told me that they don't actually need to be replaced, charged me $0 for the inspection. I'm glad I came here and will always come here. Quick and good service most importantly hey are honest which is a big contrast from my previous provider

Brought in car for oil change and tire rotation. They forgot to put the blocks under the rails of the car and the plastic siding began to flex. Pointed it out to mechanic and he said "it's only plastic" before lowering the car and putting blocks underneath it. Mentioned to manager who asked employee (same person) about this, he denied forgetting the blocks. Fortunately no damage done (car was balanced on front end/middle, no support on rear) but I won't go there again. read more

Asked to rotate my tires. they said one of the lugs was stuck (weird since they had a torque wrench and I was the last to change the tires and all I have is a tire iron). I get home to take a look a look at it and when I tried to loosen the nut the bolt ripped off. The Jiffy lube guy over tightened my lug nut (probably thinking he was loosening it) and then said he couldn't take it off instead of coming clean. read more

My 20 year old nephew brought our car in for an oil change and was charged $50 for a cabin air filter. He was not savvy enough to realize that we could have changed the cabin air filter for $15 (per auto zone price for filter). I called up to complain about the price that they charged and the person who answered the phone said that the price used to be $70 and $100 before that so we were lucky. So, it was $170 to change the oil with synthetic oil and get a new cabin air filter. As I suggested to my nephew, always question car repair places and always call at least three place to get the best price. Lesson learned. read more

I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for more than 20 years. When my cars go off warranty, I take them here. I LOVE that they keep historical computerized records, and can tell me about previous work, filters installed, wipers changed, flush and fill, etc.. I always ask about work that is recommended for my 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis, based on its mileage and their data base is robust and tells them what needs to be checked or changed. The woman manager is efficient and courteous and shows me the air filter every time and explains why it does or does not need changing. My driver's seat is always in the place I left it. I am 5'4" so this seat placement is just one of the little things they do to keep this long time customer happy. Car is always vacuumed too. read more

went here for an oil change today. I think the mechanics rushed my job because I have been smelling burning oil for the last half hour while driving. They were very quick, I would just say tell them to be a little neater next time because the smell is quite offensive. read more

Definitely needed to update my review after I changed my cabin air filter. The gentlemen who helped me out in February removed both my cabin filter and my engine filter to show the amount of dirt, and I chose to replace the cabin filter on my own. My allergies had been horrible this year, so I decided to change the filter in mid-spring on a whim to see if it would help. To my horror, the tech had replaced the filter upside-down, so it was blowing last year's pollen and this year's pollen back on me for most of the spring. I'm not an auto technician by any stroke of the imagination, but I know when my filter has been put in upside-down. Very unhappy. read more

Does not even deserve 1 star, they will NOT do a basic oil change just want to upsell other services, Jiffy Lubes main service has always been oil changes, must not make enough money so will only upsell to rip off the consumer. read more

We have a 2009 Honda CR-V and the AC recently stopped blowing cold air. There is an extended warranty on a part because this is a common problem. We brought the car to Honda Fairfax and they said the part wasn't broken, that we just needed a freon recharge, so we brought the car to Jiffy Lube because they charge $100 less. This morning at Jiffy lube they put freon in but had to pump it back out because the part Honda said was fine (2 days ago) is actually broken. Jiffy lube charged us only $50 for the service AND Jake the manager said he wouldn't charge us again if we got the part fixed and put freon in there. Great service and HONEST. read more

This one is not bad, except for the fact that they say they do a bunch of things for their "signature oil change" service including tire pressure check and vacuuming, but after they were done, my car was exactly the same inside (clearly had not been vacuumed) and i checked a few times to see if anyone actually looked at my tires and i'm 99.9% sure they didn't. I went to get a safety inspection 1 day after my oil change, and my tires were low on air, which jiffy lube clearly didn't notice. read more

BEWARE, cheaper quality oil is being pumped into your vehicles. Old, unused oil that is still in stock is being sold in place of higher quality, more expensive oils. Go to a reputable place!!! read more

This is the BEST Jiffy Lube EVER! I have been going here for a while now, and have always been pleasantly surprised. They are quick, honest, and trustworthy. This is one of the few places who hasn't tried to charge me an arm and a leg for services which are not needed. It's wonderful and that's why I will keep going back. read more
