I'm not sure how this place has more stars than two! We went eager to grub on some amazing ribs since it is known for that and were highly disappointed when a slab of "meat" was thrown on the table with some dry flavorless sauces placed on top.... we ordered a Caesar salad as well and all it was was soggy lettuce with a couple croutons on top! There was hardly any service either... we went up to the bar to ask for service two times. The only reason I'm giving this place any stars is because I like the pic I took of the bar LOL

Went for lunch after a day of parasailing and sun. We were hungry and we were not disappointed. It has American fare so we are so happy. Good portions and tasted great!

Donuts to die for! You must try it.

The best fall-off-the-bone ribs so far. I've tasted a lot of ribs in New Zealand, but this is one of the best. Super flavourful, huge serving, prompt and friendly service and priced just right. Especially in this tourist town where food can get a little bit expensive, this ribs place is truly a bargain. When we stopped there, they even had an on-going promo for Sundae Sundays and we got a free one. Make sure you leave for dessert and get their cinnamon donuts -- oh so heavenly! If you're fond of those mini donuts you often only find at fairs, it's a lot like that but with two huge portions. Melts in your mouth and is sure to make you happy.

You have done it again Jimmy Jack. Ordered rocking rack and 12x wings. Extremely good and filling. Will come back again.

My husband and I stopped into Jimmy Jack's for dinner during our recent trip to Paihia. After a long day of hiking we were starving and Jimmy Jack's didn't disappoint! We both ordered burgers and found the portions to be HUGE! The service was okay, but we knew not to expect the same service we get in the US.

Big portions, well prepared ribs, great fries. The sauce was a bit boring, but overall a very nice meal!

Don't go for the overpriced bland chicken sandwich. If you are looking for takeaway go for the gyros shop.

When I asked what she recommended, she said that the Aglio and the Te Ika Mata are great paired together - so that what we went for. The Aglio is Confit garlic, Rosemary salt and Truffle Mascarpone. The Te Ika Mata is raw market fish (cod today), coconut, coriander, chili and lime. The Aglio was warm and fresh and the the confit garlic had a great flavor without being overpowering and was very good. The Te Ika Mata had a wonderful flavor - a hint of lime mixed with the coriander (cilantro for those from the U.S. in a liquid with subtle coconut flavor. The flavors worked so well together - I was very pleasantly surprised and our server was right - the two (Aglio and Te Ika Mata) worked very well together. It was light yet satisfying and I would absolutely order it again!
