The experience itself was good. I ordered my sandwich easily. Inside was clean. The guy at the cash register was polite and friendly. The guy making sandwiches moved quickly and didn't make a mess. The lady at the drive through stayed busy and seemed great. BUT, had to knock off a star because I just didn't enjoy the wrap. I couldn't taste the meat or cheese, and it was mostly tortilla. I'll spare you the image of the big pile of dry tortilla leftovers at the end of my meal. The tomatoes were fresh, the lettuce was nice and crunchy, the mayo tasted fine. Just couldn't tell there was even meat and cheese present, and for $8.47 (including tax), I'd much rather get 3 or 4 tacos at the bell place, where I know I can actually taste the meat and cheese. Finally, a man identified himself as Luke picked up the phone and as I was inquiring about the delivery, his quick response was you're not going to get it. We don't have a driver. he then went on to say I'm busy. I don't have time to talk if you have an issue call corporate. I replied,wait a minute the money has withdrawn from account. This has to be the worst Jimmy John's in the Midwest as I travel a lot and have been to many locations. I will say the sandwiches are always good but a few things you always encounter at this place. The drive thru is open maybe 50% of the time. You drive around and there are employees in the store. Most of the time no one is in this store so this doesn't make sense. How about a sign on the drive thru speaker? I just go to Subway down the road. Other times it's just not open for one reason or the other. Poor management! read more

Can we put negative stars?? My husband went there today with our two kids and my niece and nephew (all 6-9 years old) and waited in the drive thru line for over 20 minutes after they ordered. And there wasn't anyone inside ordering and workers were just standing around! This isn't so much about the food, but the team behind the sandwich. We walked in and were told right away they were out of regular french bread due to large online orders,but they still had wraps and slim sized bread. We could tell the team was stressed and we said we can go if they needed a break. They insisted they could handle it so we ordered a sandwich and a wrap. The team of 3 lead by Tommy was getting slammed,but they were hustling and cranking out orders as freaky fast. This is a new place in a new location on the back side of a large strip mall in a smaller strip mall. The place was easy to find, bright and clean, and folks welcomed me when I walked in. The food is always good. The store must be facing issues keeping employees. Ownership needs to step in here. Some days employees are in the store but not open. Other days, closed and sometimes a sign on drive thru staying inside orders only. It's frustrating when trying to get served on lunch hour or half hour when it takes 15-30 minutes to get through the drive thru. It seems they take an order or two then stop until those customers are served before moving on. Owner may need to increase salaries to keep good management. You never know if this location is going to be open or not. I go to the Club Fitness across the street and this Jimmy John's is never open when Apple Maps and their web site says they should be. Whenever they are open, it is incredibly slow service. I've ordered online for pickup, drove the ten minutes to the location, and they hadn't even started making my sandwich. When this restaurant is open, it's really good food. Everything is made somewhat fast, and the Employees are respectful if you treat them nicely. However, on occasion, they will close down randomly without updating their hours. This is a massive inconvenience to people who live 15+ minutes away to have to drive out there just for no one to be there. If you have that big of staffing issues, be closed on Sundays and update your hours. read more

Worst fast food/restaurant experience of my life today at this store. No one in front of me....waited about 10 minutes at the window for four sandwiches and then calmly asked if sandwiches were on their way. Told they were working on it. Waited another 5 minutes and still nothing. 15 minutes now....I asked the nice cashier if she know what was going on and then immediately a gentleman came to the window and asked "Is there a F...ing problem? We are backed up... I can void your order." I had four kids in the car. I said please do so I could just move on without issue. He said, "You paid by card so I will void it and get the F... out of my line MotherF....." I then asked for a voided receipt and he told me to "Get the F... out of his line or I am going to F... you up." I had the kids in the car so I just drove away so they would not have to see anymore of that. Still have not received my refund. Never had an issue at a jimmy john's location until we went to fenton. The employees were rude and seemed inconvenienced by us. Normally they read back your order and this time they did not which lead to them giving us the wrong sandwich (which ended in us getting Tuna something we do not eat and it was just thrown away) He was super rude. When asked if we wanted anything else I stated "hold on" to which he replied our total as if he didn't care if we wanted anything extra. I ordered the #9 with extra onions- there were barely onions on there and it looked like I had the amount of meat that a slim would have not a giant.
