Food is always good. But the tall guy with locs possibly the manager was very rude to his staff. They appeared to working be very efficiently. He threw the energy off as soon as you ordered yelling at a worker about closing his register. The staff all looked uncomfortable. After he screamed my order, slammed my sandwiches down with no bag. On 4/16/24 I had gone into this location to use the restroom as I was on my way to go meet a manager at a gym to talk about my insurance so I was in a bit of a time crunch the place i was going closed at 6:30 THIS WILL BE IMPORTANT LATER AS A MANAGER WILL LATER LIE ABOUT ME & TIME FRAME & say I was in the bathroom for 45 minutes, not true i was in the bathroom less then 10 minutes, the manager I think came up with this because she knew I was going to contact corporate. ( YOU CAN PULL THE CAMERAS) ((& ALSO YOUD KNOW I WASNT IN THE BATHROOM FOR 45 minutes BECAUSE THE PARTY OF 3 LADIES WAS STILL STANDING NEXT TO THE DRINK STATION WHEN I CAME OUT OF THE BATHROOM.))) I walk to the bathroom & a lady is walking out she is in a party of 3 THIS WILL BE IMPORTANT LATER. A female knocks on the door I say sorry someone is in here, not even 5 minutes later a different person knocks on the door a manager. She is saying something like I had previously been barred from Jimmy John's?!? NO NEVER, I have never been in trouble at this restaurant I also try my best to not get into trouble with retail places & or restaurants. Absolutely embarrassed I asked for the corporate number, I was handed a website by the manager instead. The manager goes on to talk about didn't you get barred here?!? And I was like NO? I was like this is no way to treat any person & I will not be treated like shit by any manager. She tried to apologize but I was too humiliated at that point. Also speaking of being humiliation by the staff in late December right before Christmas I dropped my phone outside Jimmy John's my friend Alex went to go look for it, he got it back from the staff & 2 staff members had taken selfies with my phone, & all I could think about was how many of my pictures did the staff see??? i was pissed, so this last incident with employees at this location had me LIVID. I don't usually leave reviews anywhere but today i came in and was so shocked by how kind and helpful these two ladies were. Now im old and have seen generations of people over the years and customer service has definitely changed but these ladies amazed me, the little redhead girl greeted me as soon as i came in while she was cleaning and took my order and when i was confused about menu items she kindly helped me find the best sandwich for myself. She then asked me how my day was and actually took interest in how it was and was so kind. The other woman working that night i assume is the manager was also extremely smiley and kind and you could tell their work dynamic together was very welcoming and good, while i was walking out she made sure to remind me to have a great day and was very polite. Not only did we get our food quickly but we got a great experience. My wife and i were both really impressed and happy with our service. So thank you to those two girls for helping make customer service what it should be. read more

I had just moved to the J'Town area and lived close by to this location. I stopped in to order a sandwich to go and got a very cold welcome from the employee. I just figured he had a bad day. I ordered a sub to go and then another employee appeared and began telling the other employee about "his bathroom experience." They were both laughing about it and discussed it for a few minutes. I really thought this was pretty rude considering this is a restaurant. I went on my way with no "come again" or "thank you " or not even a "screw you." Because I live so close I frequent this strip mall and Kroger. Many times when I pass by this restaurant I see that, I assume employees because they are the same vehicles over and over, do not park in conventional parking spaces nearby but park against the curb in front of the building or by the curb across the way but still in the flow of traffic, but not in a parking space. Because of these lazy people that decide that they are more privileged than the rest of the public, I will never go there again. They have a bunch of disrespectful millennials working there that the management sets a terrible example for. The entitled generation. I have stopped by here 4-5 times. This spot is close to my corporate office. It is located in a building next door to Starbucks, so this parking lot is usually packed. I stopped by a little after 1 today to quickly pick up a sandwich combo and head back to the office. Lin wasn't very long, but they have changed the names to numbers only. My vito is now an Italian. So of course, I took a double take. Sandwich was made before I could even fill up my cup. The food is filling, and made fresh! I always order the Vito, and jalapeno chips. Hit's the spot and fills me up all day. Usually I do not eat dinner if I eat the entire sandwich. Service was good, bathroom was clean. Do wish the had a hook in the bathroom to hang my purse. Pretty tasty sandwich...I ordered the turkey, ham, and provolone sandwich with some extras added. I loved the bread, it had a perfect amount of moisture; not even the bottom edges were dry. Dry, bottom edges, are a turn off for me when eating wheat bread. It would help if the delivery charge were cheaper though...I assume the drivers all want a tip, so a $9 sandwich became $15. All in all, as much as I liked it, I would have it delivered to my office again only as a last resort. read more

We cycled through every sub on the menu starting with the first sub and ending with the last. We had subs for lunch and dinner for seven straight days lol My favorite is probably the Gargantuan although I try not to have it too often My go to is usually the Hunters Club if I had to pick one. Oh, this Jimmy Johns! This is nestled so perfectly close to my apartment, which is very bad on my part, since it is quick service, and food and always yummy...which is bad for my wallet! I have always been a fan of Jimmy Johns, and often relied on them during my undergraduate years. I am super pleased with this location, for the service is always friendly, and they make their sandwiches super quick! I honestly haven't ever waited for my food for more than 5 minutes? Possibly less, honestly. I usually order the Club Tuna or the Beach Club, which are always my go-to sandwiches. There is also something about the bread I just love! I know some people aren't a fan of it, and if you aren't you should totally try the multi-grain bread or the lettuce wrap option! Both are very yummy! I also am in love with the chips, since I am big kettle cooked chip fan. And don't forget the giant pickles! I mean, they really are HUGE and I swear I can feast on that alone and be full. Anyways, this location continues to show great service for me and make awesome sandwiches! The staff always greet me with a smile and are always very kind. I am also sorta glad this place is never super busy, unlike when I had to suffer at the U of L location, where I had to battle with all the other students... Please! I placed an online group order for delivery through someone I work with, so we could get it quicker and easier because we couldn't get away from work. I received an order confirmation that once the organizer of the group submitted their order, mine would be placed. My card was charged for the amount, my employee received her order and I did not get mine. I thought it may come separately, so I waited. I ended up calling the store at 12:54 PM to see what happened, she said it should've come together. I explained there was only one order. I gave her the order number, she asked for my phone number to look it up and said she couldn't find it. She needed the actual check number. I told her it was on check #22. She said there was only one order on it. I explained I have an email with the order details and my credit card was charged... She said the order didn't come through and the charge should come off. I asked if their group ordering doesn't work, she said she really didn't know because they don't handle it. She said, 'Sorry I'm not a technician I just make sandwiches'.... a pretty rude response considering I did not feel like I did anything wrong. If I hadn't got an order confirmation or charge on my card, I would've assumed I messed up. But no one apologized, they made me hold to take another call, and no one offered to complete the order I placed. I understand mistakes happen but to laugh claim you can't help me because you just make sandwiches is ridiculous. I know times are hard, COVID ruining everything and those in fast food are struggling with limited staff. I understand. I have sympathy. Love my Beach Club sub! This Jimmy Johns is located a short driving distance from Bluegrass Industrial park. I reserved the fifth star, because this location stopped delivering to the Bluegrass Industrial park area and it crushed me. You have to go the back Watterson Trail road to Lyndon Station to bypass all the Hurstbourne traffic. Fortunately, your order is placed, made, and ready to eat in less then 3 minutes. The speed of this location always astounds me and keeps me coming back since I can just squeeze in a 30 minute lunch. There is always a ton of staff taking Togo orders for all the other places they deliver and I have yet to have a bad sub yet! read more
