I stopped by Jimmy John's for lunch with my toddler. The store was clean, and the employees were reasonably friendly. I ordered the veggie Little John. The sandwich wasn't bad at all, the ingredients were fresh, but nothing really stood out. It felt pretty average overall. What did stand out to me was the pricing. The sandwiches felt expensive for what you get, and the combo prices seemed especially high. It honestly felt like a more expensive version of Subway. Nothing was terrible, but nothing impressed me either. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to come back. read more

I used to order here all the time but after my last experience i can't bring myself to go back. I usually order around 8pm on weeknights so it is never busy. i do my curbside order for 1 sandwich it's typically pretty consistent and quick. The last time i went was on a weekend, a saturday afternoon, i ordered my sandwich at 12:40pm on my way to run errands i figured it would be quick and easy. i arrived 15 minutes later and checked in on the app. about 15 minutes had passed of me sitting out front in the curbside slot. i decided to go check if my order had been misplaced on the mobile order shelf. i walked in and it wasn't there, however there were 3 employees working, and not one greeted me, offered assistance, or tried to help me at the register. After 5 minutes of waiting i walked up to the register and said excuse me to finally get somebody to help me. i asked about my order and about how much longer. the worker that was actually making sndwiched interrupted and said that they are busy but since its just a 1 sandwich mobile they'll make it when they finish their catering order. which is was was taking them so long in the first place. i then asked if i could just get the soda i ordered with it while i waited. i went back out to my car right after i filled up my drink. my boyfriend had in this time ordered panda express in the same parking lot, received his food, and ate it all while i waited. finally at 1:40 i went back in to check on my sandwich which had taken an hour now. the workers told me "well it's been done we called u out but u never came for it" i said that it was a curbside order plus i made it clear i was waiting in the curbside spot outside. they were extremely rude and started telling me that since i came in i need to pickup my order inside instead of curbside. just really frustrating that i had to wait an hour for 1 sandwich and then ate it soggy since the workers didn't walk my order out to the car. the order that clearly said CURBSIDE pickup on the bag. also the shop is very tiny, they most definitely could have looked around to realize i was not in the store anymore. I don't want to sound like i'm spoiled and can't walk into pick up my food. i just am frustrated that the 3 employees all lacked common sense and courtesy to walk the order out after they called it out and nobody picked it up. 1 hour for one sandwich is ridiculous. i get it catering orders are a lot to deal with, so they either need to be properly staffed or start preparing much earlier instead of prioritizing it over all store/mobile orders. this is very ridiculous, and i will not be returning to this location read more

If you like Subway you will probably enjoy Jimmy John's. Their quality is a bit higher, but it's nothing special. The sandwiches are pretty bland. I would suggest AJ's nearby or Togo's in Yuba City. Both are approximately the same price but more flavorful and, especially in the case of AJ's, unique. Also, MSG is added to their branded chips. That's not a good sign. read more

I have loved Jimmy John's for years. Their ingredients are super fresh and placed generously on your sandwich. Their bread is delicious, and unique from other sub shops. The speed at which they make your sandwich is still freaky fast. Some of the friendliest, quickest service around. Inside dining atmosphere is modern, fun and cool. I sensed something was different with the Jimmy John's in Marysville, CA. The last time I ordered food (approx. 2 months ago). The food was not as fresh or delicious as usual. The amount of my twice the turkey sandwich was stingy and not as tasty. Yesterday, July 19, 2021, I was flabbergasted by several things when I placed my in-store (under new ownership) order. The standout issue was the price of my sandwich. The 12" Beach Club w/extra turkey ($5!), and dried up baguette that sliced up my gums), sub-par, condiments, (2) chocolate chip cookies (ingredients changed, not in a good way), a "reward" side of avocado, minus $2.80 in promo reward was $25.19! So my IN-STORE order would have been $27.99 w/o promo code deduction or tip! Nearly $30 for a 12" sandwich and two cookies! Really? Past door deliveries included chips, pickle, and a large soda, with delivery tip included, for what I paid for this order! Seriously, I paid more for this in-store order pickup than a front door delivery (including driver tip)! For the price of lunch at Jimmy John's (Marysville), I could enjoy a sit down meal at Olive Garden. So long Jimmy John's! It was nice while it lasted. read more

This was my first and last time coming here! I get that it is corporate, but WTF? Below is a picture of what $5 will buy your kid. Bread & Cheese. Don't be fooled, the mayo and mustard was $1 extra. My ten year old ordered a $6 veggie sandwich, but he didn't want the cheese, avocado, or cucumber. It's not bad by any means but it's just sort of...nothing. There's no flavor and they go INSANE with lettuce. I had seen Jimmy John's locations in Sacramento & had passed them over because of the so-so Yelp reviews, I was surprised to see this pop up in Marysville & wasn't planning on trying it but 1. I was starvin Marvin 2. I was in the area 3. The reviews were pretty good---I'm so glad that those 3 reasons aligned & brought me in! Upon entering I was greeted promptly by the young man behind the register, I informed him it was my 1st time at this establishment, he promptly went over all the things I needed to know & pointed out the most popular sandwiches. I decided on I believe a #9 on wheat no mayo with peppers. I paid & waited for my food, it came up quick & the young lady who gave it to me was equally friendly-talk about super sweet customer service! I unwrapped my sandwich in the car because I was in a hurry & wow I was blown away for $7 & some change it was absolutely delicious & so very filling!There's another sandwich shop in Marysville that I use to enjoy but it kind of went downhill the last few visits & began to taste greasy? This place is definitely on my list of places to go when I'm in need of a quick delicious fresh bite to eat & the fact it's paired with awesome customer service is just an added bonus! Unlike I've seen at other sandwich shops, my meal is always completed before I even get my receipt. Maybe it's a JJ staple to be so quick. I always order the turkey and add provolone (I think that's the only cheese they have). Their tuna is the BEST I've ever had, but you have to be really hungry for that sandwich - it's huge! These sandwiches are great! The meats, cheeses and breads are great. Why one less star? There is no combo 'meal deal' that helps define actual cost. Most sandwich shops offer a sandwich, chips and drink. Jimmy John's doesn't offer this. Furthermore, you need to purchase those things separately. A 'regular' with NO veggies plus a medium drink will cost you more than $9. You can get veggies on a sandwich plus chips and drink for the same or less at a Togo's or Subway.... read more
