The service here is terrible! I walked in and was greeted at first. My husband who was in his police uniform held the door so our son and I could walk in but these ppl didn't realize we were together until we began to order and then their attitudes changed. We asked for a kid sandwich on one loaf of wheat bread with only cheese and ham. They gave attitude and said they will do it but it will be the last time bc a sandwich for a kid plate cannot be done like that. My husband began ordering and there was just attitude coming from the 40yr old man who still work at jimmy jones. We get our food and the kids food is wrong. I go up there and get ignored by another 40 yr old woman who had now come in and replaced original cashier. So I said excuse me she turned and I said hi. We had ordered it just with ham and cheese plain and they put mayonnaise with all the other veggies. She looks at me and tells the other guy that is making the food the issue. Guy making the food was like I did say ham and cheese and I made it that way didn't know they wanted it plain. I tried to handover the original sand which that was given to my kid and the attitude from the now cashier was over the top with her reply, ugh we can't take this back. You already opened it so just keep it (which I had no idea that happens when your food is inaccurate. Cool kiddos sandwich came. Everyone was getting greater as they walked in and as they left. Soon as we left and nobody else in the store not one great of having a good day came from any of those ppl. There's nothing really wrong with the Jimmy John's sandwich. Especially if you're looking to get something delivered quickly. However, I will say that this specific location has canceled my delivery orders, two or three times because they ran out of drivers or poorly planned their staffing. And those 2 to 3 cases, I did go pick it up myself twice, but it meant being pestered by somebody who is hanging outside, trying to sell something. and then one of the other times or maybe it was two times I just canceled my order because if I was gonna go and get it, then I would opt for something better. if it's not during peak delivery hours, then you probably won't have problems with this place, but I no longer order from here. read more

Jimmy John's has always been a reliable and solid choice when it comes to needing lunch delivered, be it for just me or a group of trainees at the office, this location has never done us wrong. My go-to choice would be the Jimmy John's Box Lunch: sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie; what's there not to love? Their online ordering system is great when feeding a crowd or just taking care of me. I always opt for the veggie sandwich, extra avocado spread, add hot peppers and oregano. I often switch between the thin chips and the jalapeno chips but always finish my meal off with their oatmeal raisin cookie. Delivery has always hit the mark as well. They're anywhere from ten minutes early to right on time. Drivers have also always been very friendly, quick, and efficient and our orders have also always been correct, even when customized. Jimmy John's off San Pedro has never steered us wrong and stands by their catchphrase: Freaky Fast. Thanks for that freaky fastness...you've come in clutch more than a few times JJ's! read more

(for details, see pic of receipt) Majority of sandwiches (Mini-Jimmy's) were 90% bread, 5% meat/cheese, and 5% lettuce/tomato/mayo. Snagged a pic of jealousy of ONE sandwich someone got that seemed to have the most "stuff" in it. Otherwise, the rest were similar to what I got - I took pics from both ends. If you're a vendor providing food to a group, you will NOT impress nor satisfy anyone with a lunch from this Jimmy John's. As a recipient (someone staying in the area), I'd NEVER spend $ at this location! So too, from the restaurant's perspective, isn't a good meal supposed to entice a visitor to order from this place again? Waste of money, unless you just like their bread (which, yes, was good). I HIGHLY recommend getting the beach club. If you're a fan of Thundercloud then the beach club is like getting the Austin club. Great to know about this hidden jewel so close to where I work. In this busy area of San Pedro Ave in SA it's great to find a great deal and healthy food all in one place. A colleague had recommended that I order a TUNA SLIM w/BELL PEPPERS and JALAPENOS. The sandwich was not only delicious but the tuna salad was perfectly seasoned. The finely chopped celery was the "Je ne se quoi" (I'm not sure what it is) of the whole dish giving it that extra slight crunch factor ;) The total for a filling and satisfying portion was under $4. For future reference I will request less Bell Pepper and Jalapenos to my taste so that they don't over power my dish. read more

This was my first time at Jimmy Johns. We stopped here for lunch on the way to the airport. The bread is second to none IMHO. I ordered the #11 Country Club and was impressed. There was a generous amount of meat in it and it felt substantial compared to other sandwiches I've had at places. Of course, they really slathered on the mayo too. My wife had the Vito with hot peppers. I had a bite of hers and it was very flavorful and spicy. We ended up ordering a Beach Club to split for later on during our layover in Vegas. I asked for no mayo this time around haha. It definitely didn't disappoint either, even without the mayo. I wish they'd bring Jimmy Johns out to Southern California. NOT A FOOD REVIEW. From reading other reviews and from my experience AVOID THIS LOCATION. IDK if she was a manager or not but she was an older white lady with white hair and she was VERY RUDE!!!! I barely walked through the door and i had my 40 lb golden with me because i can't leave her in the car and i just got out of school HUNGRY needing some food so i stopped at my FAVORITE PLACE. and she started shaking her head before i even opened the door and she says NO if it's not a service dog IT CANT BE IN HERE. no HELLO , WELCOME or anything. When i tell you steam was coming out of my ears. and i told her i've been to jimmy johns before and no one has said anything AND it says ONLINE THEY ARE PET FRIENDLY and she said well this isn't the one you came to, so i said so different locations have different pet policies??? that doesn't make sense. she said yes we do very confidently, so without saying goodbye just how they NEVER greeted me i walked out. mind you there are 4 OTHER EMPLOYEES STANDING AROUND HER. what an example on how to treat customers!! I'll tell you I have always enjoyed their sandwiches and the fact that they deliver, however, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. i ordered a sandwich and added avocado for almost a dollar. When i bit into the sandwich, I didn't taste any avocado. I called the store and the employee said"did you look under the cheese?". I did and there was the tiniest of smears of some avocado spread. I told the guy that there was barely any there and he said "welp, that's the portion corporate tells us to use, sorry". I have had many experiences where the employees are not willing to budge on any "special orders or add-ons and the attitude has been take it or leave it. From now on, I leave it....
