RE : Business owners(Patricia) response to my criticism : Think you are confused . I never nitpicked nor did I ever make any $2000 less offer on any of your cars . Never even met you . Your response is both defensive and offensive. Re : All their cars having warranty. Not so. See the attached photo taken today of a car on their lot . No warranty. You justify your pricing by blaming it on supply & demand . In other words you are taking advantage of the situation. Shame on you I say. Yes I have only left negative reviews. However I have only left two reviews total so its not like I have left a multitude of negative reviews as you imply . I do not like to pay full taxes. Who does ? Think about it - on initial purchase car is taxed at full purchase price . Then every time it resells which might be 3 or 4 or more times it is taxed yet again . Mr. Taxman ends up unjustly profiting from this not the consumer . You think that is fair ? Sorry if you think that makes me not credible . I stand by my criticism . DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! I had bought the 2015 Nissan Altima on 8/8/23. 70 hours later the car broke down. I hadn't even drove it for 20 miles at this point. We had to pay 175$ for the tow truck to take it to Jim's warranty mechanic-Auto Center Unlimited. They said the car had no antifreeze in it, which was causing it to overheat & that the car was missing a radiator cap. On 8/18/23, I took the car to get an oil change. The guy doing the oil change said the battery terminal needed cleaned. We call Jim's mechanic, they get us in on 8/19/23. They had cleaned the battery terminals and said the battery was bad. We had to pay for the battery to be replaced, 150$. On 8/21/23, the alternator is slipping and the RPM were going crazy, the car didn't wanna drive. The car is currently at the mechanic on 8/22/23, which is today and only has been 2 weeks since I bought the car. read more

I needed a car for my wife, and she fell in love with a 2012 Chrysler 300 that Jim had. We drove it a few times to make sure this was the car she wanted, and we purchased the car. Jim was always exceptionally accomodating and he let us drive several cars as a comparison. We took our time deciding, and Jim was NEVER pushy to get the sale. And the end result is that we ended up with a fantastic car at a great price. It is so pristine that many of our friends thought it was brand new. A great buying experience. I first met Jim and his wife when a friend of mine needed an inexpensive car for one of her sons who was a new driver a few years ago. Jim sold him a great older car in excellent shape for cheap, which he used until he cracked it up and went back and got another great car he still drives... then her other son needed out of a car loan and got a good deal selling a car there! So when my SUV's tranny died last autumn effectively totaling it, I broke my own rule of "avoiding used car dealers" and tried him out myself - and I'm glad I did. I wanted something smaller and better on gas, but still comfortable enough for extended drives on the Parkway. Jim and I discussed my needs and budget at length (and he was patient as I stopped by several times over the course of three weeks to kick tires and chat) and he never tried any high pressure sales tactics or tried to rush me. I really felt he wanted to make sure I found the right vehicle for my needs, not just something he wanted to unload. When I found a car I liked (the one he was driving at the time, sorry Jim!) the whole transaction was quick and painless - Maybe 20 minutes near the end of the day for me to test drive it and make a decision, and another 20 when I came back in the morning with the money and proof of insurance to finish up. And we probably spent half of that just chatting about life. Buying from Jim was a much more relaxed experience than buying at a big corporate new car dealership (done that a few places) or from a random person online (I've done that a few times too) - and four months and 40-70 miles a day later all it's needed is half the gas the SUV drank and an oil change. Oh, and I put wipers on it over the winter. I love my car, and wouldn't hesitate to send a friend or even family member there to buy a car. read more

If there was a way to not give any stars, I'd choose that! I have bought used cars in the past and had no problems. The vehicle I purchased from Jim's Auto has been nothing but a money pit. I have already spent more than I paid for the car in repairs, and am still having issues. The carfax he gave me had to be incorrect, so don't trust it!!! He is the reason used car dealers get the reputation of being slimy. read more
