They always say " but we can get you in at (such and such). I'm like nope that's no good for me, this is when I'm free. Can't guarantee that I'll be free at that time.

This is by far the worst salon in the Truro area! My mother has been a customer here for many…read moreyears, she recently bought a hair straightener here along with the two year return warrenty if the product is defective. After using the hair straightener a few times she discovered it would not stay hot and kept shutting off, which as many of you ladies know is extremly annoying especially considering they cost of the product was over 150$.... She assumed The Head Shoppe would honour their warrenty policy only to discover she was wrong. When she went to return the item to ask for a return or her money back, the assistant manager was extremly rude and arrogent. She snatched the straightener to plug it in, and then stated that because it turned on it was not defective, then suggested it was her faulty wiring in her home all the while rolling her eyes to her co-workers. Im writing this review as my mother has tried apealing to the company manager to complain, only be met with unexplicable agism along with uncompliance of their return policy warrenty, as the warrenty says nothing about what consitutes as faulty. The town of Truro should be ashamed by having an opperating business like The Head Shoppe located in the Truro Mall. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SALON!! as you will be supporting a churlish and monopolizing business.

The staff are lovely. They give me exactly what I am looking for even if I am not explaining it…read morevery well. I also get my brows done here and they look amazing when I leave. I love that I don't need an appointment and even if they are busy, I never have to wait long. The reason for the 4 stars is once I got a cut that I was not happy with and not quite what I asked for and although they mostly fixed it, they still charged me for a second cut.
