Delicious ramen and pretty good appetizers! Visited twice, great service both times. Be prepared to wait if going for dinner, this place is on the smallish side and can get rather packed! Enjoy!

I loved Jinya Ramen bar at Carrollton. I came on a Friday night and they were busy but their service was very quick. I ordered their Tonkotsyu Original and Tonkotsu Black. I highly recommend their Tonkotsu Black. Their portions were amazing and their broth is very flavorful! The ambiance was very casual and great with friends and family.

Yes.....To everything about this restaurant. On a cold and rainy day decided I decided to pull up for ramen with a friend and they were packed. Well the nice hostess added us to the waitress and we even decided to sit at bar for a shorter wait time. We waited for possibly 3 mins and were seated at a booth. The menu is amazing. The atmosphere and the art mural on display is everything. The music wasn't overly loud and you can enjoy having an amazing conversation. All and all this place was great the food came out exceptional fast, and the drinks are amazing here.

The ramen is very tasty, plentiful, and hits the spot if you're craving ramen. Service was okay - our server wasn't very helpful and didn't seem to be want to be there. I had the tonkatsu red ramen and it was delicious. One friend had the creamy vegetable ramen while the other friend had gotten the garlic rice. Both of them enjoyed their dishes. The place is decently sized but there are a lot of vents that blew cooler air on us, so no matter where we sat, we were still a bit chilly. And it did get loud and it was a little challenging to have a conversation.

I've been to JINYA for maybe 20yrs when they opened one up by my old home in LA and I'm so glad they opened up one here! The establishment is cute and modern, setup in a new spot in old Denton. I definitely like the vibes, it tends to get busy during peak hours, but not so bad otherwise and the food is consistent and tasty. The only thing I noticed this place can't do like they do in LA is really spice things up. I order the spicy chicken, and at its highest spice level and with more hot sauce on the side it's not spicier it's just gets more red lol. My only issue is the service, def feels like non-experienced kids work there who need a little guidance. Our server forgot about us, not once but 5x. It wasn't even peak dinner time we were there waaaay too long because of the service. Like where did dude go? Did he go on break or what? He'd come by and say "ok" but disappear never to be found. We had to flag other servers asking bunch of time. At one point we flagged a female server and she stopped us in the middle of me asking if we could just have some water "I'm so sorry? Im not your server but I'll find him"... Bruh, for some waters though? After this we've decided to not dine in, sucks bc the drinks are really good here! We still like the food, reminds me of Cali so we order out. It is kinda pricey for ramen but it was always that way. For 2 ramens (no adds) a two drink it came up to $103 (this included tip - although I didn't feel it was deserved I always tip, since servers are well underpaid). I'm not a tough customer, not much of a complainer, don't really give out a ton of bad reviews but my recommendation is, keep your service expectations in check here if you decide to dine in.

We were craving ramen and decided to try Jinya, especially since it's a well-known franchise with locations in multiple cities. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to the expectations at this location. Service: We visited around 3 PM on a Wednesday and were surprised to find it fairly busy. Even so, it took a bit longer than expected to get seated despite several empty tables. After our visit, I noticed other reviews mentioning slow service, which lined up with our experience. That said, once we placed our order, the food came out fairly quick. Food & Drinks: I want to start with the water... it tasted noticeably off. I'm not picky about water at all, but this was unpleasant enough that we ordered soft drinks instead, which is never a great first impression. - Crispy Chicken (8/10): Easily the highlight of the meal. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with thigh meat based on how tender it was. This was the one item we genuinely enjoyed. - Shoestring Fries (4/10): Nothing special here. These tasted like basic frozen shoestring fries you'd get from the grocery store. To make matters worse, we found a piece of hair in our fries. I quietly informed the waitress without causing a scene. They did replace the fries and apologized, which I appreciated, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. - Spicy Chicken Ramen (7/10): My wife really enjoyed this dish, especially the fact that they offer a chicken-based ramen option. She liked the thin noodles and said they reminded her of ramen she's had in Japan. - Premium Tonkotsu Red (5/10): This was disappointing for me. The first sip of broth tasted off, almost like it wasn't fresh. Honestly, tasted like an old broth sitting out for a while. The flavor itself wasn't bad, but the quality just didn't feel right. In hindsight, I couldn't help but wonder if the strange-tasting water had something to do with it. I usually finish my ramen, but after the hair and the broth taste I had lost my appetite. Overall, I wasn't pleased with this visit. Pricing isn't my concern, but cleanliness and quality are. With hair found in our food, I expected at least some form of compensation or acknowledgment from management, not just a plate replacement. That lack of response reflects poorly on management and attention to hygiene. Based on this experience, I don't see myself returning.

Great food. Excellent service. Environment a vibe. We tried chicken ramen and creamy veg ramen. Both were great. Our server Sol recommended us some drinks and crispy chicken. It was great. Matcha leechy lemonade was also excellent. Excellent service by Sol.

Such a nice spot and nicely decorated place . The menu looks enticing with good looking drinks and offer varieties of food choices. The spicy chicken ramen was flavorful and delicious . Even though I requested the top spicy level but couldn't taste any spice . It's understandable since Japan spice level can't be compare to Vietnam or Thailand . The Premium Tonkotsu Red with the thick noodle was also delicious and flavorful . The crispy chicken for appetizers was full of flavorful and crispy . Overall the food was good and the services .

The ramen here was really good! I loved the tonkotsu black broth it had really good flavor and the egg was a PERFECT soft boil. Unfortunately, the Takoyaki didn't live up to my expectations. It didn't seem to be fresh and crisp and they really drown it in eel sauce which can be overpowering. They had a lot of fun cocktails but I didn't get any so can't comment on the taste. The service was very kind and attentive! This is a nice place for a date or girls night out. They have a decent amount of tables but it's not the largest restaurant.

I tried this spot on a Friday evening with my friends. We got there early and the spot had patrons but it wasn't much. By the time we left every table was full! Our service was good. Nothing spectacular but not bad. The staff does yell things randomly haha so don't be surprised! I enjoyed my ramen and really enjoyed the crispy rice with spicy tuna. I had had it others places and not enjoyed it but tried it here and I wanted more after the three pieces I enjoyed haha. My friends all liked their food as well. I'd come back to try some more options. I love that they have some variety to their menu and not just ramen. The decor is cute and edgy which I enjoyed.

Came here for lunch with friends one day. The service was quite well, we got seated quickly without a reservation. I think the highlights were the appetizers: crispy chicken and brussels sprout tempura. Both were fried really well and came super crispy. Now the main dish, I tried the tonkatsu black. It was pretty good, above average for sure. The broth was smooth and well flavored. One minor note was I wished the portion could be a little bigger. Overall it was a good meal, we recommend!

If you are craven comfort food in the form of Ramen go here. This Ramen bar is bright, clean and so pretty. I ordered their Pork Ramen. The first one on the menu. It was so good, even on a hot Texas Summer afternoon. The soup was rich and creamy. It came with an entire soft? boiled and marinated egg. So delicious. I can't say enough good things.

V Red Fire Opal veg ramen. It was DELICIOUS!

I placed an order online and picked it up after shopping at H Mart. It was 1:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday and the restaurant was packed. I'm talking, line outside of the place! I walked in and let the host know that I had placed an order. It was stifling hot in there. I had to wait around 10 minutes since it was so busy. By the time I walked out with the food, I was literally sweating. I ordered two Red Fire Opal vegan ramen and an order of the salmon poke tacos. They did a great job packing the food so it would not spill. The tacos were ok, but they were way too expensive for such small tacos. The ramen was beyond amazing! Full of wonderful flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I am serious when I say I have thinking about that ramen ever since that day! I will definitely return to try some of the other items, as well. I am thankful to find a ramen restaurant that offers veg options!

This time I got the spicy pork ramen (17), spicy garlic chicken ramen (18), and then got the spicy garlic pork ramen (19) togo.
