I reached out to John and he was here that afternoon to access the fallen tree and how best to get it off of my house. He gave me a price to remove the entire tree, haul away all of debris and grind out the stump. Mind you this tree was every bit of 6' at the base and was not a small task. The very next day John and his crew were at my house clearing the tree that was against the structure taking every measure not to do any further damage. Once that was done they proceeded to take the rest of the tree down taking every precaution to minimize damage to my yard. Once the tree was down and removed they ground out the stump, raked up and left as little impact as they possibly could considering the scope of the job. A month later I had the misfortune of finding a huge crack in in a 120' tall pine tree that looked to be ready to let go at any moment and that too would have made a direct hit on my home. I called John and he was at my house that very same day to look at the job. He secured the tree with straps at the cracked portion and assured me he would rearrange his schedule and get here that Saturday to start the removal of the tree as this was a priority. Well John and his crew did NOT show up on Saturday, they showed up earlier on Friday because we were due for a storm on Saturday and John did not want to leave it to chance for that tree to come down. He climbed that tree and limbed it off to reduce the exposure it would have during the storm. He returned that Sunday with his crew and proceeded to take the rest of the tree down, chipped it up and when they left at the end of the day you couldn't ask for a neater job. If you need a tree removed this is with-out a doubt the most professional, on time, reactive company out there that will do a quality job and you will get the best value for your money and I am willing to put my name to this testimonial. He returned several weeks later to do the pruning - probably the tree's first in over 50 years. The tree is now much lighter and looks great - cant wait for this year's crop of apples! He never followed up, never provided bond or insurance information. Simply ghosted. Not a sign of a good professional. His memory of the event is laughable. We don't even have a garage. Do not do business with this company. Demand proof / certificate of insurance and bond PRIOR to doing business with him if you are foolish enough to do so. And if he brings along any so called subcontractors or friends be very wary. They will vandalize your home and property. ------- I would prefer to give 0 stars but I'm forced to give one. Used them once three years ago. Brought along a friend of his who wanted to try and sell the wood. The friend left a machine behind and left the bucket of the machine digging into our blacktop, which started to rip as a result. We had to move the machine because it was left on our property for days. The "friend" of Jerred's came back, demanded payment because his machine had simply been moved, and when we refused, he took a pin out of another machine that didn't belong to us that was on the back of our property. Be careful who you hire. That pin cost almost $500 to replace. Never heard back from Jerred. Definitely not worth the trouble. Find someone who actually can prove they're insured, and don't let them bring "friends"m
