I like to call myself a documentary wedding photographer simply because I prefer to go along with your plans rather than try to take over.
I do not believe in dedicating a good portion of your special day towards getting a magazine style portrait.
You set your timeline, give me the details and I will take care of the photos.
The only time I take off my documentary hat and take control is during the group photos, and that's only if you want group photos.
Apart from that, you will barely be aware that there is someone out there taking photos.
History
Established in 2015.
I have been taking photos since I was a little boy, the spark having been lit by my Dad who was himself a keen photographer. Over the years I have photographed almost everything I could point a camera at, I just wasn't getting excited taking photos of inanimate objects and landscapes; my passion is photographing people.
I always imagined being a professional wedding photographer would be too much of a good thing for me, then one fateful day a few years ago a photographer friend of mine asked me to be his second shooter at a wedding. I had an amazing day and came home feeling more proud of my photos than I ever had been before. That was when I knew what I wanted to do.
Now here I am, living the dream I never knew I had, taking photos and creating memories that last a lifetime.

You want to know about me? Well, I'm a thirty-something family man with two young children. I am originally from Leeds, moved to Sheffield to go to Uni in 2000 and have lived in Sheffield ever since.
I studied Computing and when I'm not photographing weddings I am a Microsoft Certified Business Intelligence Developer.
Photography is more than my career, it is also my hobby. I founded and still run a photography club called 'I Just Wanna Tek Gud Photos' based in Sheffield. We have monthly socials and go out on photo walks at least once a month too.
I also enjoy a good pale ale when I get the chance.
