Mike was extremely professional throughout the whole process, sending us some live songs before we made our decision and answering emails promptly throughout the months leading up to the wedding. As for the performance, all I can say is that we were just shocked all night as to how truly AMAZING this band is. So many of our guests came up to us at the wedding or shortly after and told us how much they enjoyed the music. I think everyone had a ridiculously good time and the band certainly played a large part in the success of the evening. As for the band, one of the reasons they are so great is the extremely wide range of songs that they not only play, but play extremely well. From Classic Rock, to 80s &90s, to Pop and DANCE/R&B / HIP HOP, Top 40, Ballads and even a little country; they nailed it all. I really can't express how awesome they were and the 5 star recommendation doesn't do them justice. While this is not that . . . it's perfect for New Orleans and the south and has it's own flavor. I loved the show here! Madame Kennedy was the perfect emcee (and also put on a wicked black light bubble show). Some acts were sexy and seductive. Some acts were acrobatic and martial arts based, as Madame Kennedy said, "I'm sure someone is missing their anime character somewhere." There were hula hoops, feathers, and grinders! One act was a woman who put a grinder against a metal plate on her belt and sparks flew everywhere! I also saw my first (as far as I can remember) burlesque by a transgender man. It was so much fun! We did the reserved tickets, so we got a table right up front. There isn't a bad seat in the house, but I really prefer being in the center of the action. Doors open at 6:30 for a 7 PM show, but ours was running late (we didn't mind). They have a basic bar with decent prices. They also do dance classes, varying show themes, comedy routines, and more. So you'll always be able to see something different.

My company was visiting New Orleans for a meeting and we worked with Carl to organize a second line…read moreparade. When I tell you Carl is the best, HE IS THE BEST. He accommodated every need we had. The original day we planned to have the parade ended up storming. I called him the same day to see if we could move the parade to the next day, and he did it no problem. That usually NEVER happens especially on the same day to change it to the next day. That being said it was a weekday so I'm sure it was easier to change it, but Carl knew exactly who to call to change the permits and have the police approve the route. He went above and beyond to help make our parade and experience the best. We had stilt walkers, revelers, and a jazz band walk with us. They were so professional and everyone had so much fun!
