I bought a 7-lesson package from this school. I have never ever driven before. The first lesson was of information, especially the first 20 to 30 minutes of the time. I couldn't imagine myself steering properly around the city where it was too crowded for me. I decided beginners like me have the same kind of awkward experience as mine. My instructor is one kind of a 'genius'. Easing up my nerves was the first concern. They were very calm and patient , saying things in a manner where I got relaxed and receptive. Once I felt was comfortable, they would start giving me some helpful and effective instructions for my turns and stuff. Next thing I knew, I was getting the car parallel-parked. At the start, it was tough as I thought but this instructor made parallel parking so easy. The three-point-turn was simple for me. The office (by the way, the staff are all nice and professional) arranged everything for me to use their car on the day of the test-my final practice. It would have been uncertain for the road test if I didn't have them as my driving school. I am so happy, i just got my first drivers license thanks to JMP Driving School. Simply amazing. First let me say many people have tried over the years to teach me how to drive all failed miserably due to my lack of ability to control the car, but at JMP, I found patient and calming instructors that after my first lesson i actually felt comfortable behind the wheel (quite to be honest). JMP Driving is the best. I received my license today, and it was all thanks to them. I had always been scared of driving, but my instructor was able to melt away those fears. She was not only pleasant to be around,but made sure to point out my mistakes and explain how I could fix them in a calm but firm way. I have had my permit since I was 16, and am 32 now. I had taken a few lessons here and there throughout the time but never enough to be ready for the test. I took my driving test today and passed, I'm very happy. I want to thank Monica because without her lessons I would have never passed the driving test. I learned a lot with her. I like the way she explains everything for example her explanation of not to focus on one thing because when you are driving we have to see the whole situation around us and react promptly. This driving school was just what I needed. Before the lessons, I never felt confident driving, even when one of my parents was next to me. Throughout the lessons, I became better on the road and more confident. Also, the lessons were convenient for me. I would be picked up at dropped off at my house. For the driving test, I was picked up and taken to the DMV. I practiced the test with my instructor twice, using the same route I would be tested with. JMP driving school is really good. They taught me skills that I would need on the road beyond the driving test. They are very skilled in what they do and are very thorough in making sure you know what to do on the road. They won't recommend you take the driving unless they think you are ready to take it and more. When i first started I suck as a driver... after two weeks im a A+++ students :) this is amazing. So yes this school is pricy.. but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Let me tell you why... At my old driving school (i think metor) the instructor was uncaring plus they dont teach safty.. that comes a long way. They actually taught me the worng things. Phenomenal driving school! I was terrified of driving, but the pacing of the lessons eased me into it and I'm happy to say that I'm driving without fear now. They'll pick up you, give the lesson, and drop you off with a written report of what you need to practice.
