I love this shop, it sells quality products to us lay people and the staff are very helpful…read more I was trying to buy some product to tint my eyebrows and the staff member informed me that I needed to buy the peroxide with the dye, which saved me a lot of hassle and the trouble with these products is the lack of instructions so they are there to ask away especially when it comes to hair dyes, you have to know what you're doing before you go buying 40 vol peroxide and ruining your hair or just make silly mistakes because you didn't ask. Lots of little accessories for nails and hair so plenty of things you can grab to make a little at home salon for a night in with you and the girls.

And yes okay Boots do this too but the way it's laid out in this store is perfect it's not squashed into a small bottom shelf in some corner it's laid out in its own section with proper sections for each thing. I sound like some kind of a neat freak here! The other product they do that is sometimes hard to find is Barry M, yes it's a cheapy make up brand that i never use for most of their stuff but have you tried their nail varnishes? They have every colour! Not just shades of red and pink, everything!! And it lasts fairly long too which is a big thing for me, you'd think I sat picking at my nails with a chisel the way they end up looking after an hour sometimes! This one is well stocked but kinda messy and always packed so there's alot of squeezing past and bumping into people which I hate. It's like a lesser Boots, the products are cheaper, both in the good and bad way! A couple if times I've been in here and felt like the security guard was watching to see if I was shop lifting (which I wasn't by the way)! and since this is in the square which has 3 Boots Chemists I would b way more likely to go to boots then this superdrug.

Maybe its because it looks like your walking into the perfume of the duty free section in an airport. Unfortunately the prices seem to be the same as any other place that sells perfume however. In som ecases its even more expensive. Of course there are cheaoer perfumes, the ones that are so ten years ago and not in a classic way that is! one good thing is the fact that they do those perfume set things, you know the ones with the teeny tiny little bottles of perfume? i love them! well i love all small things but this way you can fit your bottle of perfume into your handbag for a night out and you also get lots of different scents for the price of one big bottle, brilliant! there is always one stinky one that you dont like though, ah well, give it to you little sister!

I had a particularly bad experience with a hairdresser who pulled my hair badly as she was cutting it (it felt like every time she cut a strand, she was trying to pull it out of my scalp), tried drying it upward into shape, and achieved an pyramid-like flare that's flat at the root from all the pulling and then flares dramatically. She then tried to squash the pyramid look down with a little bit of curl cream, which of course achieved absolutely nothing because it's not how curly hair works. It was complete and utter incompetence. I had a headache for the rest of the day from the hair pulling and had to compeletely redo the blowdry and styling myself. I'm not going back for haircuts again. I'm going to a different salon to touch up this one as I gave up asking for adjustments during the service. It was unpleasant, sometimes outright painful, and I just wanted it to stop. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hair salon
