This little market is oh so cute…read more Cheese made by monks? Liqueur made by monks? Very strong too. And their famous monk made cheese cake! It's a farmers market with a ton of sweet and cheeses. And cookies. What's not to love. First, Montserrat is way up above the mountains. Views on views from everywhere. You go to the Monserrat and visit the lady of Monserrat. After that you climb down and come here for some cheeses. They prefer cash and most stalls only took cash. But they are all under 10 euros. I got a giant monk made cheese cake with stunning golden color for 9 euros! Got some cheeses and honey to snack for the drive back to barcelona. And some torrones: they are similar to my favorite italian nougets but much sweeter. Same almond base. All in all, everyone was so friendly. Social distanced! And respectful even in pandemic. What's not to loveee!
