After my dentist appointment in Dundalk and in need of a little latte, I stumbled upon Joanna's Cafe nearby. A cute little shop that was warm and inviting. The perfect spot for locals to grab a coffee on their way to work or an afternoon lunch spot. Joanna's has a really nice menu with quite a few breakfast and lunch options. As well as a decent drink menu for whatever may suite your fancy at the moment. I settled on a Pistachio and Rose Latte, a Sausage and Cheese breakfast sandwich, and a huge Black Bottom Muffin. The latte was little on the sweet side for me, but the flavor was decent. The breakfast sandwich I got on an asiago bagel, and it was pure deliciousness. The chicken sausage was seasoned nicely, and the asiago bagel was so soft and pillowy. I thoroughly enjoyed this sandwich. And the muffin was quite tasty too. With so many items to try on Joanna's menu and their good customer service, I'll definitely be back to try some other things when I'm in the area. read more

Wow! I'm so glad I decided to go visit this place in person rather than a delivery order. Night and day difference. This place is adorable. They even have outdoor seating and the weather was absolutely perfect. The hostess was pleasant and so helpful. She recommended the chicken sandwich which had pesto, arugula and mozzarella cheese. This thing is so big it's a challenge to eat so you need to smash it. My issue wasn't so much the smash but after the first bite you begin to lose ingredients. If it wasn't the ham it was the egg or tomato slipping out. It's tasty but I will definitely opt for a diff sandwich option next time. Service is wonderful. My friend brought me to this cafe for lunch - super cute place. They're already decorated for Easter. We placed food for dine in at the ordering counter and found a table to sit at. I ordered the Yacht Club sandwich with chips and a Caramel Frappe and my friend ordered a flatbread. My sandwich was so filling and really good. All the ingredients tasted really fresh. My cousin introduced me to this place after working out at Planet Fitness. I think I ended up going back six times and every time was extremely impressed with the food, the coffee, and the service. I think it was my second or third time in and was greeted by name. That impressed me so much. You should definitely try the Burrizo Burrito. So good! The coffee is great. I get a mocha with cinnamon. I went back recently and was highly disappointed. I ordered a BLT and was served the thinnest sandwich I had in my life. Also, not sure what's going on with the beverage section but they keep very limited amount of ice tea and lemonade out for customers. I was racing to fill my cup up with another gentleman because the containers were being refilled a cup at a time. The hash brown sandwich had a piece of lettuce on it. Everything just seemed to be rationed and skimpy. For the price against the product, I probably won't return again. read more

This place is so cute and quaint. I love that I found it. It's truly a little cafe we're you can sit and do work or meet up with friends. They are always super nice when I go in and I ended up going three days in a row. You will have to wait a little after you order so don't be in a rush. I ordered tuna on a toasted croissant with American cheese, pickles, and roasted red peppers. The tuna wasn't over seasoned and had a great consistency. The sandwich as a whole was very flavorful and I ended up ordering it again the next day but on white toast and a little red onion. I think I like the toasted croissant better. Now the side house salad dressing is sooo good. They should never stop making it. The first time I tasted it I got it as a side but didn't eat the cranberries. I ended up getting a full house salad later that week and removed the cranberries and added cucumbers, croutons, and feta cheese. The croutons are not crunchy: just FYI. But I still loved the salad. I did try the broccoli cheddar soup a few days later. Unfortunately, I didn't really like it. It was a little too watery for me. The lemonade and sweet tea weren't real lemony or sweet. More on the watery side. But overall I really love this cute place and will be back probably one day every week for lunch. read more

Love this local spot! Not entirely sure when they opened but it has been there for a while and I have gone there now about 3-4 times. Each time, I get great service and delicious food and drinks. They have a wide range of items that you can pick from for breakfast and I believe some sandwiches and pastries. They also have plenty of seats indoors if you choose to eat/drink there. They also have some games you can play and a small "gift shop" where you can buy merch. There is plenty of parking as there are other stores nearby. read more

I love this little cafe. It's such a nice spot to have in the area. They're always well decorated with the season, and the staff is consistently welcoming and kind. I ordered the avocado toast (added egg), a blueberry scone, and a harvest latte. Let me say: I am OBSESSED with the harvest latte. I eagerly wait for them to sell it every year and I am always sad when it leaves. I don't know how to describe the flavor, but know it is basically fall in a cup. Like pumpkin spice but way better. I always get it with oat milk, which I really think just takes it to another level. You have to try it if it's in season. Crunchy toast, creamy avocado, warm egg - perfect avocado toast! I love the salt and crushed pepper they put on top. The egg does cost more, but I think it's worth it for a little extra something. They also have a crabby avocado toast, which I didn't get today, but I highly recommend that too! I've really been into scones lately for whatever reason, and it's been interesting to see how they differ depending on who makes them. First of all, this scone was HUGE. Scones tend to be on the less sweet side, but this one was probably one of the least sweet I've had (not a bad thing!). I think most of the sweetness came from the crunchy sugar on the top and the blueberries inside. The flavor really just reminded me of a biscuit. It also wasn't super dry like scones are known to be. Came across Joanna's while on a work trip and was pleasantly surprised. Inside is cute and casual with an assortment of pastries and goodies on display. We all ordered the special breakfast, the Chesapeake which was so freaking good. It was two fried eggs, bacon, avocado, and CRAB all on a perfectly toasted Asiago bagel. It was so good and not too heavy on the stomach. I also had to try their popular latte options such as the Starr and the Death Starr, both were delicious and kept me caffeinated all day. The next day I tried the Burrata sandwich, this was also pretty good and I loved how they toasted with the bread with the mozzarella (making the perfect cheese pull). The grilled cheese , Mac n cheese, and tomato soup were also quite good. This is a small portions spot so don't expect huge meals out of here. Everything was decently priced and service was great. The service was great, but the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because our drinks came about 5 minutes after we got our food. The inside was set up so cute with American flag symbols all over and a really cool train in the display. I got the Dundalk smog and the breakfast egg platter. The platter was a perfect size but I wish I would of just gott egg over easy because the scramble was just an egg patty kinda cut up. The Dundalk smog was definitely not my favorite. The old bay made it seem like I was drinking a seafood broth. The regular coffee on the other hand was delicious. Overall, I would totally come back here to try some of their pastries. read more

Great little cafe in Dundalk. I often work near here and wonder where to eat that isn't fast food or similar (5 Guys). I often have trouble deciding what place I'm getting a burger from...but now I found this place! Lots of good sandwich options as well as some soup and salads.
