Always a pleasure to make a pit stop at Jobie's when in town! Service is awesome. Friendly people, great food! Plenty of picnic tables to choose from, with a beautiful view on the water in downtown Bathurst. Classic pulled pork sandwich and burger are two guaranteed hits not to miss. Other options include salmon burgers, chicken burgers, poutine (available with pulled pork) and deep fried arancini balls... It's all good. Check it out! Saturday's seem to be there busy day, so expect a bit of a wait then, but it's well worth your time. read more

We went to Jobie's on the causeway on a windy Saturday afternoon. It's a popular spot both with locals and tourists alike. We had a little bit of a wait, understandable though since there were a few large groups in front of us in line. I ordered the burger special, the "Queen Bree" and fries. The burger was a beef burger with brie, bacon and a red onion relish. It was a solid burger, with a great bun. My only complaint was that it was a little one dimensional - it could have used some tanginess or something to cut through the richness of the cheese and the beef. All in all, a great (and probably the best) option for fast food in Bathurst, NB. read more
