Joe and the Juice on Beethovenstraat is one of the largest Joe & The Juice locations I came across during my time in Amsterdam, the interior is large, with lots of seating. When it opened in 2018, it was only the second location that Joe and the Juice had in Amsterdam, and now they've grown to have many locations throughout The Netherlands, showing their popularity and ambition.
PRO TIP: If you purchase a gift card via the Joe and the Juice app, you can get some great savings. Not only are the products discounted, but you can also add an item to your drink/sandwich for free, a gift card gets you ten of a single product and you can use it at any Joe and the Juice location in The Netherlands, including at the airport! It is a little pricey without a gift card so I'd strongly advise taking one out if you're going to be visiting often enough.
I visited this particular location twice during my time in Amsterdam, as they're located just a short walk away from the Hilton Amsterdam, where I stayed during my December 2023 trip to the city. On both occasions, I ordered an Iced Gingerbread Latte, and on both occasions, the staff were friendly and served my drink promptly after I ordered via the app.
The location is also handy with a tram stop and Albert Heijn a short walk away.
I enjoyed my drink on both occasions, although I did have to mix it myself as the syrup was on the bottle, the drink was of good quality as a whole, the coffee was good and the Gingerbread flavouring was a tasty festive treat, as I visited in December, right before Christmas.
The large interior is especially handy as it can be hard to get a table at most Joe and the Juice's elsewhere in the city, and although it can get busy, it gives you more chance of getting a table to sit down and relax with your smoothie/coffee/juice.
4* - A good Joe and the Juice location overall. My coffee was good, and the staff were friendly. I would return. read more
