I asked the waiter if the burger was cooked properly or the Houston style (burnt to a crisp and disgusting). Fortunately, being so far away from Houston, I was assured the burger would be nice and juicy: indeed it was. Fresh cut, perfectly fried okra alongside a juicy burger made this meal perfect. I wish I could give this place a diamond rating. Texas Michelin Star Worthy for sure. Got to meet Billy as well. True gentleman. Fried zucchini is about as fresh as you can get! I had the chicken fried steak with onion rings and beans. Wife had chicken fried chicken with potatoes and broccoli rice casserole. Everything was fantastic! Also picked up a piece of coconut pie to take home. Highly recommend this place. Home cooking at its finest. It was a Saturday around dinner time and it was very crowded!
