Mackasinet has a choice of different sandwiches and salads (and also coffee and cookies). Perfect for that quick afternoon/late lunch snack when spending a whole day at the park. We had a "Västkust" (fresh shrimps) and a chicken/mangoraja - both were tasty but the chicken was mostly bread and dressing. It is just a small place but it is clean and pretty compared to Äteriet for instance. It is clean because there are no seatings. You either eat standing outside or across the street upstairs. They accept AMEX.

It is the seat of the bishop of the diocese of Gothenburg in the Church of Sweden. Wide variety of delicacies and friendly service. Only fairtrade and organic items sold here. Ample space and seating in this locationally blessed place. Lots of power outlets and free wifi. My only complaint is that they need an extender on the wifi signal to improve signal in the front of the store and to access from the beautiful outdoor seating. Only tried the Christmas mint hot chocolate so far which was good, but I can't wait to come back to try other things! They have plenty of hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes that look delicious. Plus if you're looking for an alternative to the Da Matteo, Espresso House and other coffee chains this place is great :)
