Lemon ricotta cookie the only one I didn't eat too fast for picture lol

Randomly stumbled on this hidden gem. You walk in and it's your traditional classic old school Italian style bakery. Nowadays it's hard to find one of those that's actually good. So I order about 3 cookies skeptical as always lol. Let em tell you as a pastry chef my self and a love of rainbow cookies this cookie was amazing the lemon and ricco was great I'm excited that I know now about this bakery and will be trying much more

Came for some rainbow cookies and of course ended up with way more! The store is clean and well organized and everything from the cookies to cakes to breads looked amazing! Cannot wait to come back.

Was in the area working and not many choices of breakfast so I found this bakery on yelp and got the ham and cheese croissant and it is amazing warm flakey and delicious...

Chocolate mousse cake
Samah I.

I went in for a specific item (a three layer chocolate mousse) and was given the incorrect one (which I discovered when I got home. It was a chocolate mousse cake I believe) so I called and let them know and was told to come back to be given a new one (a thirty minute walk for me--I don't have a car). Once I returned, I was charged again for the new item I had spoken to them over the phone about (I had also decided to buy something else). It was mended because I pointed it out, but I would've liked to have seen some communication amidst the employees about the fact I was coming in (had my server not been the one to answer the phone and honor the new item). Would've been nice to have been returned the difference of the item that had been initially given to me that I hadn't asked for too (it was more expensive). I'm assuming it wasn't employees best day but service was just disappointing. They didn't even seem to know their own menu items which was why this back and forth happened in the first place. I had asked for this triple layer and was told they didn't have it when there was an entire tray full. In any case, the cake was dry and stale, and the raspberry was either bruised or rotting. A really big shame because I would have liked to have frequented this place more often.

I drove by this baker and I had to stop by to get a slice of cheesecake. I am not from the area so I took a chance on coming in ordering a slice of cheesecake. I instead ordered a whole cake because the staff was so kind and friendly. I appreciate them taking care of every client with kindness especially with the environment we are currently under. The cheese cake was amazing and delicious! Super creamy and yummy. You must give them a try!!!

Delicious!!! We had a special order cake made at the very last minute for my husband's 65th birthday. They were extremely accommodating -- ordered at 10 a.m. and was ready to be picked up for party at 5:30 pm. It was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten....it was a huge hit at his celebration dinner. Freshest of everything....whipped cream w/fresh bananas and strawberries, with a chocolate ganache top -- photo below. Their breads, pastries and cookies are also outstanding. If you live in the surrounding areas, it is certainly worth the trip. Even if you don't live in area and are visiting nearby, definitely pick up dessert to bring with you. I promise you won't be disappointed! Staff was amazing as well!!!

Cheesecake on display at Newark International Airport by the TSA entrance towards the Alaska gates. Just looking at it sold me.

We came by the day before Mother's Day, so they had pre decorated Mother's Day cakes. You can also place an order. Service is quick and friendly. We initially planned on getting a Strawberry Shortcake, as that seemed to be the cake to get. However, we opted for the Cheesecake, because we were able to add fresh strawberries (and whipped cream) on top! I'm not a fan of whipped cream, so I avoided that, but everyone seemed to enjoy. It had a good creamy texture and was not too sweet. The strawberries were indeed fresh. The pound cake was soft and airy. The vanilla flavor comes through. I will have to try the Marbled version next time! Note: Cash Only! A regular customer ordered the tiramisu cake; said it was the best cake ever, so will have to try that next time!

The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

It's charming inside and quintessentially Queens - walking in, you get a sense that this was a family-started business. The pandesal was yummy, authentic, fluffy and hit the mark when I was having the craving. The worker was super nice, too and there are a few tables for you and a few friends to sit around and eat the goodies. There's a fridge full of cakes and other desserts, too. I think you could probably preorder a cake if you're an ube fan and get it for your birthday or other special event. I'm happy they're here and would love them see more things on the menu - maybe I missed it but would love to try a halo halo here. I would love to know when to get the buns the freshest as well/what their baking schedule is!

Would love any good suggestions! On a weekend early evening around 5pm and they seemed to have most items in stock. From other reviews seems like they're known for their ube cheese pandesal, ube cake, mango cake, pan de coco and pork asada bun. I picked up a torte Cebuana $3.25 and pan de coco $1.50. The former tasted similar to a pound cake in cupcake-like form, sprinkled on top with fine sugar. The latter was a sweet bun with shredded coconut that tasted sweetened with palm sugar. It had a lovely fragrant coconut flavor and was tasty though a tad too sweet for me. The store itself isn't big, a pretty casual set up with seating for maybe 12-15 at cafe tables. The back counter is where baked goodies are displayed, a fridge on the right contains chilled drinks and full-sized cakes which looked made to order. On the left side of the store are some Filipino grocery items on shelves. Staff was friendly and helped answer a couple questions I had about ingredients, (or asked other staff what they didn't know). If I was in the area I'd come back to try a few other items.

We ordered chicken wings, french fries, and pork soup dumplings for our kids. For my husband and me, we enjoyed the pork combo, the crispy watercress salad and Batagor (fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wontons and fried potato with peanut sauce on the side in case our kids wanted any). Our most memorable and refreshing dish was the Crispy Watercress Salad. Who knew watercress could be fried!?! lol We will definitely be ordering again next time as well as recommending to others. This dish was refreshing and light. Loved every bite! The pork combo was a combination of roast pig, sausage slices, fried slices of fish cake, etc. with rice and soup on the side. Easily the ideal lunch for one person or to share with someone! The Batagor was very fun to eat because it reminded me of fondue but with peanut sauce. I loved dipping the fried fish cake, fried tofu, fried wonton and fried potato in the yummy peanut sauce. This night was delicious and the perfect family dinner for us. With tax and 20% tip, total was about $145 and change. A little steep for family dinner but it was about right considering the raising cost of groceries. We considered it our New Year dinner. Eaton Cafe definitely gets two thumbs up from me and my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Happy New Year everyone!
