This unassuming shop (in the back of Pete's house but don't let this stop you, it's a fully functioning barber shop separate from his actual house) is totally legit if you're looking for a good barber perfected cut. With more than 55 years of experience, Pete was full of stories & super welcoming & totally first class. Did a straight edge cut to blend my hair & a sweet fade in the back. I even asked that kids cut were 20 dollars as my son was sitting in the chair. The haircut was awesome. Once I went to pay the total was 26 dollars. I just paid and left a smaller tip. I called to speak to management, not sure who really answered. I asked why I was charged more and the response was first due to covid, then was told walking ins pay more than appointments. So which is it? I am a local and don't like the unfair treatment. That is bad business and they lost a new customer. My son is young so they could have gained a customer for years..their loss.
