    Always my go to store for hunting and fishing stuff. Pricing is ok since they usually have 20% off most stuff. Staff is great!

I was able to easily get in touch with customer service and get offered a replacement. I haven't returned my board yet, but I am relieved that they have immediate customer service given that their reviews are negative. Update: I got my free return label and a perfect snowboard in return with padding. The customer service was great, thank you Dylan and Josh for the updates and respect.

On 12/21/2022 I still didn't get the other email or tracking number, and I started reading all the bad reviews on Yelp. I became nervous but the initial email I received, didn't have any link to cancel order. On 12/22/2022, I received this package. I opened the package and to my surprise, I received the items I ordered 3 days prior. And I paid $0 for shipping, I totally didn't expect to get the items this early. Only 3 days after my order. There was no packing slip, I still don't know what would happen if I were to return it. But I'm gonna keep the items. I got 600 down filled Columbia jacket for my hubby for a great price.

    I brought new downhill skis and bindings into Erik's to be mounted. Details of the timeline and my…read moreexperience are below, but the summary is - I'd suggest you find another place to mount bindings. Erik's, in my experience, is not skilled at this task. Timeline: December 10 - brought Season powder skis and Marker bindings into Erik's. I bought these skis/bindings from Evo.com (online ski retailer) as a compatible combo. December 11 - I received a call asking me for my proof of purchase for the bindings after the Erik's ski tech cracked what they referred to as the "Clamor" part of the bindings, and they needed to contact Marker to get a replacement. December 13 - I was informed that the mounting failed, which left holes in the skis in the location where the ski manufacturer recommends bindings be mounted. Erik's staff asked if I was OK re-mounting my bindings in a different location on the skis, and the previous holes epoxied. I informed Erik's that I was not OK with this, and we agreed that Erik's would replace the skis. December 22 - Erik's confirmed the replacement skis were at the store, and the replacement Marker bindings parts were as well. I was informed that my bindings were going to be mounted by the Erik's ski tech who does all the training in order to reduce risk of mounting issues during the next attempt. January 5 - I was informed my skis were ready. January 6 - I picked up my skis, and was charged the full amount for the mounting of my bindings despite the time and hassle cost of the experience. Summary: In the end Erik's made things right, and did a good job of communicating clearly along the way as well as setting expectations appropriately, but I would caution against having bindings mounted by Erik's unless you have no time pressure, and are willing to deal with potential hassle along the way.

My family and I were riding our bikes back from Panera and my son's bike pedal came unscrewed and we weren't able to get it back on. A young gentleman happened to be riding on the other side of the road from us and stopped to see if he could help. He explained he worked for Erik's and was done with work as they were closed and he was riding home. He invited us to bring it into the store as we weren't far away and he got out a special wrench and put it back in working order. He could've easily ridden on by us that day and we would've had a miserable time getting back home. But River Carlson was nice enough to stop by and help us out. Thank you River!

I recently attempted to buy a 3K bike, and the process was marred by a series of confusing, contradictory communications. After multiple attempts to place an order, I was told by Erik's that my payment was "not verified" and had been canceled, despite my bank confirming that the transaction was processed correctly on their end. What followed was a frustrating cycle of automated responses and a lack of real assistance in resolving the issue. As someone who has been looking forward to this purchase for months, the lack of clarity and the failure to provide accurate, support has been deeply disheartening. I had hoped for a professional, reliable partnership, but instead, I was met with defensive, contradictory explanations. I would advise others to look for a retailer that prioritizes honest communication and customer care. Solution - bought it on Specialized's website. Hindsight is 20-20. Good luck out there folks.

I'm clad all over in Freewheel layers especially through the winter. The staff just knows so much about cycling gear and their wide range of rides. They have not steered me wrong. I take advantage of the discounted tune-ups in December and January each year. It is such a pleasure that first ride in the spring on my road bike. Today it hit 60 degrees. My 15-year-old bike felt like new. What's the most important piece of equipment? Our helmets! Freewheel sells the Bontrager Wavecel line that has been proven more effective against concussions than older technology. Without our brains in good shape, well, we don't want to know. (I have no connection to Bontrager other than as a happy customer.) Thanks for protecting us, Freewheel!

I figured Id just take the part and have my bf install it since a line was forming and I didn't want to stand around another hour for the labor. but I couldnt take the stem because supposedly I owed another $8 in taxes for the part I had purchased over a week ago.. $8 tax on a $30 part - you do the math. I just returned it said no thank you.. super waste of time.
