Kathlyn Curtis came as a referral from one of my closest friends who knows Kathlyn from her past life as a tax attorney. "Kathlyn will fight tooth and nail for you," my girlfriend told me. "I've seen her with clients." I was also informed because of her law background, she's meticulous, great with contracts and negotiations. Hired. Kathlyn is also a 5th-generation Houstonian. Which translates to she knows Houston! I mean, as the Yelp CM for Greater Houston and a native Houstonian myself, I thought I knew Houston - but Kathlyn Curtis truly knows H-town Realestate: the neighborhoods, schools, history, demands/trends, builders, developers, contractors... I appreciated all of the insight and feedback she gave to me. There was one particular home that I had high interest in, and she flat out told me she wasn't comfortable selling me a home in that particular neighborhood. And she was right. Crime report was pretty bad. In the end, after house hunting for a few months, I was able to close on my dream casa. Well, my starter home. As this was our family's first home purchase she provided unbiased guidance on which area to buy in, what the process entailed, and advocated for us when negotiating the sale.
