So I have been to this establishment three times, two times back to back and I must say that I enjoy their food! Their customer service it's also on point, I didn't get the young lady's name who help me but she's the short happy one(they're all happy btw)she was very helpful by letting me know how I should try the Gyro Philly and it was pretty good! The last time I went there I put their Chicago-style hot dogs to the test and I was very delighted and so was my son. They have a good menu and they're always busy so that says a lot. If you're anywhere in the Evergreen, Morgan Park area definitely give them a try, it'll be worth your while! read more

Joey's Red Hots reminds me of the old days when you got an amazing hotdog for reasonable price. With a friendly staff and a variety of menu options this place is a great place to have in the Mokena, Orland Park area. First time/last time. Customer service: good. Food: I got the gyro meal. Messy and the pita was super soggy. (It's supposed to be spongy and firm). Fries were HORRIBLE; skinny hard as a rock, an tasteless. Counters are dirty because they don't clean often enough. So I sat at a dirty counter. They ran out if napkins in the dispenser. They need more staff. No drive thru and NO BOOSTER SEATS for toddlers! How can you not have them when so many families with kids who go there? My boyfriend asked for one and the baby had to sit on our laps. I know it just opened, so we in the neighborhood are curious to try and there is a lot of foot traffic because it's in the "honeymoon" phase. Keep cranking out sloppy, soggy, food in such a careless manner, and your time in beverley/morgan park will be as short lived as the other failed fast food joints on that corner! Terrible service!!! Went on January 22,2019, ordered Italian Sausage and fries. Waited over 20 minutes to get my order. Italian Sausage was lousy too. Seeing the frustration of at least 4 other customers waiting for their order to go. They didn't they care a small order. Worked on a huge order. If I could give no stars, I would. I ordered food at 9pm with an estimated delivery time of 30-45mins. It didn't get delivered to me until almost 11pm. When I finally got the food, my order wrong. I asked for a gyro cheeseburger and cheese fries. All I got was a dry burger with gyro meat and raw onions. No cheese no cucumber sauce. My fries were cold and also didn't have cheese. Not a bad spot for a quick cheap bite. I would recommend you go to Fat Tommy's if you're looking for a hot dog tho. They are a little more expensive but worth it. I went in last night right before 11:00pm I ordered 4piece chicken and a Cheeseburger. The Cheeseburger was great, the Chicken was Extremely Overcooked and hard as a Rock worst i ever hard, my fries were cold and like rubber. Awful service!! Went there on Tuesday and one of their cooks touched the raw gyros meat with his bare hands in front of a bunch of us, and told us the meat was cold after a lady came in complaining about hers being cold after leaving with it!! Then the lied and tried to say their restaurant was closed down that night due to mechanical issues!! Don't buy it!! I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the customer service was great, the large line went down so quick and the food was very good except the fries were barely half full and my sandwich was supposed to be just extra cucumber sauce only which I was charged for but had everything on it. The employees go through the line quicker than Portillos though so you won't be waiting long! Will come back again. read more

Waited over 10 minutes in line just to place order, then another 20 minutes before a lady brings her gyros back complaining that it is Cold, just to be told by the cook that they are out of gyros! Well there was a full gyros being cooked there and the cook proceeds to tell the lady and I quote: "It's cold, see?!" And he used his bare hands to touch the gyros to show that it was in fact cold!! Needless to say I amongst about 15 other customers long awaiting their orders marched up and demanded a refund, especially because I had also ordered the gyros for myself!!! We were told as we also seen for ourselves that the cooks had walked out and it was clear that they did and no one was behind the counter making any of our long awaited orders!!! Also a little tidbit to add they continue to add a NON CASH FEE for people that pay with a credit/debit card!! -Nothing like passing the fees onto the consumers!!! Also one other mention by another customer to me, she said she saw one of the cooks drinking a beer behind the restaurant as her and her daughter were leaving!! Unbelievable!!! read more

There's a lot of places like these around the area (hot dog stands). The fries were average at best. Mine were over cooked and barely salted. I did appreciate that they were super hot cause they just came out of the fryer. My chili cheese dog was okay. I love the buns they come on but I didn't end up finishing my whole dog. I went today around 4pm and it was crowded but the line moved fast. The problem was with the food. I ordered a double cheeseburger which came with fries. The cheeseburger was barely cooked, the meat was the lowest cut and the entire burger was mushy (yes that's how SOFT the meat was). Also several of the customer's were returning because they messed up their order. I don't need to try this place again but if you choose to maybe go when it isn't crowded and definitely check your order before you leave the place. Ordered the Combo #2 which is two Chicago style hot dogs, a fry and a drink. Ordered an extra fry and a cheese cup to essentially create a meal for myself and someone else (7 year old). Came out to just over $8 with a credit card fee. The dog was good, had a good snap to it and the vegetables all tasted incredibly fresh. The fries were a little cold, but the cheese sauce and the dog were hot. Outside of the fries, I had no other complaint with my meal. I placed my order and received it less than 3-4 minutes later. This was my first time coming here since the restaurant change (never ventured when it was Nicky's or the other seafood restaurant) but I will be coming back here for a shake next time! read more
