In terms of sporting gear, they have the lot - tennis racquets, basketball hoops, swimming equipment, sport shoes, treadmills, gym equipment, and so much more. Pricing is a tad high but still around Recommended Retail Price or a bit less. Assistance from the staff though is always good and they offer good explanations behind the products to help you find exactly what you are looking for. I bought a pair of sneakers from here and they have lasted very well. The store person was able to suggest a pair based on my podiatrists recommendations and find my size within just a matter of seconds (something that generally takes a while at other stores).

Also, he measured my shoe size, I thought I was 8.5, but no, I'm a 10, deplorable I do not have little lady like feet in the slightest which I pointed out to my salesman and he replied "it's because you're tall" what a gem. Huge range of products, lots of fitness wear I would kill to have in my wardrobe, or I could pay for them. I don't feel uneasy in here because it's so big, you get to have a browse before any sales assistants pounce on you which is great because I hate being asked if I need help before I even know if I need any help. I love this place, I truly do, get on it.

Oh well. Guess not all dreams come true. I just wished there were more American sports clothing on the racks. I remember when I went to America, their sports stores were the most beautiful I've ever seen, because they had so many different NBA players and NBA team jerseys that I was lifted up to heaven. In AMART, I don't think my eyes found any, maybe it's hidden on the far wall. The creepiest part was my horoscope that day said that I would be somewhere that involved sports. At arguably the best sports store in Adelaide, you'll find a lot of everything any active sports athlete needs in his/her life. From workout clothing and big balls, this is the perfect place to stop in for a gift, whether it be for you or someone else! Last time I was here I bought 1.5kg barbells for my elderly Father last Xmas, which he appreciated.

I have worn some of their items for months and months on end and it hasn't stretched or shown any signs of wearing. The clothing has been made with scientifically proven facts to improve your sport and how you feel. Some of these include, letting your skin breath well and improving blood flow. It is also extremely comfortable. If you have never seen or tried 2XU clothing before, it is quite similar to 'Skins' the tight leggings that are extremely popular with sports people. The staff at 2XU are very helpful. The help you chose what clothes will best suit you, what size is best and remember you next time you head back there. 2XU clothes are expensive. However, I think that the price you pay for the clothing is definitely justified. It is comfortable, durable and once you buy a piece you will definitely end up wanting more.

At first, I didn't know what 2XU was, until I went in and discovered a range of athletic gear, and realized I had stumbled into every athlete's heaven. I saw a lot of tri suits, shoes, compression clothing - I know what they're called now because of the hour-long lecture I got from the guy working there who was really helpful - so this place is seriously recommended. Plus, the quality is second to none.

Lululemon is one of those rather unusual new age aware stores that sell you something and then…read moreprovide you with a complementary opportunity to actually make use of what they've sold you. If it were a hard core home tattoo kit they were selling they'd obviously have limited sales capacity per person because once you've coloured yourself in ink wise, where do you go next until they make it legal to colour your babies up as you churn them out, and that would really only be for the women... so no, it is not an outlet for self tattoo kits (glad I sorted that out aren't you!) it's an outlet for yoga attire. Yes yoga! What do you wear when you go and do yoga? Well this stuff. And where do you do yoga? Here in the store after you have purchased the attire to do it in. Why? Don't get stuck on asking why, say "Why not?" and you will stretch through life with a smile on your face. It may sound a little bit strange, but if you stop and meditate on it for a few moments it is actually a really great idea. Say you have been thinking about taking up something to get fit, something like yoga. You can go in here and chat with the women beside the counter about the whole concept and try it out pretty much any time they have a class going. The complementary classes are regular, on Tuesdays and Sundays and it is a very nice and clean wooden floor environment in an old well furbished building. It is quite private from passers by on the street so you don't feel like a display advert for the store, you just feel safe and secure and dare I say comfortable in the kit that you have purchased. I would encourage you to look into this if you are a yoga type of person. Also I should mention that you don't have to do the complementary classes if you buy something in the store, and the items for sale are great quality, good fabrics and nice designs. Have a perusal on line if you like, and check for your nearest store. I do believe there is only this one in the city in Adelaide, but it's worth the trip in if you are wanting to try your hand, and feet, and hips at yoga. Also you may buy something really cool literally for any other type of physical health activity you may be doing like marshal arts or even jogging.

It is impossible to go into a gym or yoga studio without seeing its little logo on everyone. I often wondered if a volcano was to erupt (obviously preserving our bodies Pompeii style), 4000 years later archaeologists would have to think it was a part of a strange cult that worshiped a curly hieroglyph. Finally, yesterday I gave in and decided to join the Lululemon cult! I was overwhelmed at the size of the store. How can there be so many types of tights? The sales assistant approached me straight away. I told her I wanted a pair of black leggings that can be used for the gym and hot yoga. Off she went and grabbed me 8 pairs of tights to try on. Again, how can there me so many types of tights? The customer service was outstanding by all the sales assistants at the store. They knew and loved their product, helped me to find what I was looking for, assisted with sizing, and even asked for my name and remembered it whilst I was there. There is no doubt that Lulemon is expensive, $119 for a pair of cropped tights. But, its pretty comparable to Lorna Jane, $90-$111 or Nike $80-$120. Their tights are NOT SEE-THROUGH and are very comfortable, breathable, and don't fall down. I love that their clothing doesn't have giant logos or dumb sayings on them. What erks me is that their sizing is American. Also, they had run out of my size in many of the styles. It seem strange they would not stock up on their most popular tights in the most common size. Small negatives aside, I am converted.
