This sports centre offers five-a-side football leagues on two indoor pitches, plus indoor cricket leagues in two nets. I personally play indoor cricket here and have to say if you have not tried it is worth a look. Indoor cricket offers the ideal way to keep your eye in over the winter break from the outdoor version of the game. It is 8 players on each side and there are a few rules you will have to learn before you start to play! But once you get into it then it is a fun game to play with team mates and there is a bar on hand if you fancy some refreshment. They have recently invested in some new electronic scoreboards for the cricket nets and these are smart and linked directly to their website to update your details on there in real time! Another big advantage to this place is the fact that they emply a security guard to patrol the car park ensuring that it is a safe place to leave your car whilst you are inside enjoying the game and a beer afterwards. Well run and good place to go to for indoor cricket, I would say that the football pitches are not in my opinion great as they are concrete walled on the perimiter and this is not the best thing to be bounced into during a game! read more
