I had been looking for a vehicle or two for about a month, visited countless dealerships and filled out countless price requests online only to be contacted and told that the vehicle was either gone or the price would be about $100 more than what was advertised because I didn't "qualify" for all the fine print. I was literally about to sign for a vehicle at a dealership I was at the night before when I came across and online advertisement at Bowman. I submitted the availability inquiry for a Silverado and within 30 minutes I received a call from Brian Crawford who I can't say enough great things about, very personable guy who is honest and genuine. I told Brian what I was looking for and what I had been quoted and he beat the price. I then told Brian I was actually looking for a second vehicle as well, a blazer, and he made me an even better deal. I told the other dealership what I was getting and they couldn't understand how, or even touch it. Keep in mind, I did this all over the phone. Brian was great at communicating, took pics from his cell phone and would send to me of different color vehicles. When arriving to pick them both up on a Saturday (Brian's Day off but he still came in because that was the day that worked for us) I wasn't happy with the truck after seeing it in person. They had it all prepped and ready to go, I felt really bad about it. He was very understanding, patient, and helped me find a truck that I would be happy with. We walked away very happy customers, it was an experience many could only hope for when buying a car. Brian delivered on everything he said he would, to the dollar. No surprises, no upselling. He wanted me to be comfortable with what I bought and was paying. I was very skeptical in the beginning as it seemed too good to be true, at one point he said "I know it's tough to do with someone you have never met but you are just going to have to trust me". Well I certainly I do. I am sending my parents to him for a new vehicle and when our lease is up on our 3rd vehicle in December, you can bet we will be back. This dealership doesn't think in terms of sales but rather in terms of building a business and you don't encounter this thought process these days..This wasn't my first encounter with Bowman Chevrolet either.. I purchased a new vehicle in 2006 from a man that has since passed and my experience then was exceptional as well considering I had gone to other dealerships referred by friends and coworkers. I even drove to ones that were out of my way and I wasn't taken seriously by any of them. I was given a business card after they took down my email address and I was ready to purchase that day and was turned away as if I were wasting their time?! The one closest to my home was the WORST dealership experience and left me skeptical of dealerships until my experience with John Bowman Chevrolet... I will never shop at any other dealership again! John Bowman Chevrolet has always delivered more than they promised and invest their time, seeking new, better, faster ways to increase your satisfaction. I was recently perusing the internet for dealerships with the best incentives prior to my purchase. I had several responses within moments of my inquiry. Bowman Chevrolet was the ONLY dealership diligent in their responses in answering my inquiries, via email, first. I was assigned to a sales representative, Candice Miller and I must say, she is extraordinary! She went above and beyond to accommodate. I was indecisive, wavering back and forth from one vehicle to another and then, another and she was not deterred by any of this. I don't write many reviews. I'm motivated to write this one because when someone works as hard for you as Jonathan Burnicle did for me, you want to recognize it in meaningful ways. I needed a new car, and had very little time to devote to the effort. In addition, trying to buy a new car with the chip shortage is brutal. I called several dealerships with varying degrees of customer service. I ultimately ended with Jonathan Burnicle at Bowman Chevrolet. He created the best buying experience I have ever had with a dealership. He was responsive, customer centric, and went above and beyond at every turn. He even came in on his scheduled off day so accommodate my schedule...he offered it proactively. When you work hard for your money you want to do business with people who work hard for theirs. Jonathan and Bowman Chevrolet definitely fit the bill. Oh...and it matters how other employees operate when you are in the environment. Every single layer of that team was genuine, available, and truly pleasant to interact with from leadership all the way through. As I talked to people they had years of tenure and that happens when you love where you work. I would recommend Bowman Chevrolet and Jonathan Burnicle to anyone. Our experience with Bowman Chevrolet began poorly and went down hill from there. When we leased our Silverado, which we love, the sales staff pulled the old bait and switch on us. The original price offer went up when we were ready to do to the paperwork, so we walked out. By the time we got home, there was a phone message honoring the less expensive offer, so we leased from them. This winter our rearview mirror cracked from the cold, and they wanted us to make an appointment just to look at it! We live a half an hour away, so I stopped in one afternoon instead when I was in the area. I was quickly helped with a promise by the service manager to call when the mirror came in. Seven days later I had to phone them! I found that the part had already been received , but the lady on the phone couldn't find anyone to respond if they could pop it in that day. She called me approximately one and a half hours later and said to come right in. When I did arrive, I sat in the service bay for over 10 minutes before someone even spoke to me, and that is after I approached them. There was only one car ahead of me at the time. I watched while three different employees spent time with one customer! There were employees everywhere in the bay. I purchased a CPO vehicle in February 2016. I was told that included all regularly scheduled maintenance for 2 years or 24,000 miles. I recently returned the vehicle to the dealership for the 3rd oil change and tire rotation which is specifically provided for in the 2 year service contract. Upon completion of service I was told that this service was not included in the in the CPO service contract and I would have to pay. I explained that when I purchased the truck I was told the 2 year/24000 mile CPO service contract included 4 oil changes. The service writer told me that changes had been made and now only 2 oil changes are included in the CPO service contract. She turned away to help the next customer without offering further assistance. I won't be returning to Bowman Chevrolet for any other service needs. Honesty and Integrity are important to me so if they can't honor their CPO service contract, I will not be returning there for service or new vehicle purchases. UPDATE 05/20/17 The service writer has contacted me and admitted her error in interpreting the CPO service agreement. I have been issued a refund for my payment for the service in question and I have received a nice letter of apology from the Service Manager of Bowman Chevrolet. I'm satisfied that the matter has been resolved and will continue to go to Bowman Chevrolet for future service needs. read more

It was my first time ever buying a new car and I was nervous as can be. Not knowing where to even begin, I came to Bowman Chevy and they had me sit down with Andrew Gentges. We talked about some things that I liked and some things that were just out of my price range. He was very calm and has a honest demeanor, making me less nervous and more open to actually getting a car. I took a look at the 2020 Equinox and liked it. We crunched some numbers after being open and honest with my budget. After test driving it, I just knew it wasn't for me. Andrew never tried to up sale me or make me feel pressured into getting something that just wasn't right. I, myself asked about the Blazer, just under curiosity. He was open and honest that it would be a bit more but did have all the features I was looking for when it come to such a big purchase, AWD, 4 wheel drive, A V6.. ect. Andrew was able to work with me and took the time to try to find me the right car in my budget. He made sure he went over and explained all the paperwork, even sometimes explaining 2 and 3 times because I was always asking questions. I know I'm not the only one that walks into a dealership nervous, feeling like everyone is staring at me. The end of my lease was coming and I was sure I was going to get a Dodge Journey. My husband made a suggestion that I try another vehicle, "just test drive a few" he said so I did. I went to Bowman and they were so incredibly helpful. The gentleman in the front brought up two cars I asked to rest drive and after each drive he asked my thoughts about each vehicle. I WASN'T nagged about making a decision right then. The salesman Justin Thrift gave me the lease options and spent quite a bit of time looking up the vehicle I wanted. I left that day feeling I was in the right place. I took the weekend to think about it and in the meantime test drove another car but I kept going back to the Equinox. Went back to Bowman on Monday. with my husband so he could test drive the Equinox and he liked it too. Justin spent the rest of the day trying to find the exact vehicle I wanted and he even called me to let me know the progress. On Tuesday Justin called with the right vehicle and we went back and test drove that one. Justin got the papers all together and we went back a couple hours later and signed the papers. I took my car to Bowman for repairs that were covered by warranty. While it was there, they said that it needed other work that was not covered by the warranty. I told them to proceed with the repair, and they called me an hour later to inform me that the repairs were completed. When I went to pick up the car, they charged me for 2 hours of labor, even though it had only been an hour since I told them to make the repair. I checked with GM and verified that this repair should only have taken 24 minutes to complete. The only thing the service manager offered was $50 off their overpriced detail, when they should be refunding me $150. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The only reason I went to Bowman in the first place is that I thought all the costs would be covered by warranty. I say this because I took another vehicle there a few years ago. They quoted me hundreds of dollars (around $600 I believe) to remove all the transmission lines and replace them. I took it to AC Tire for a second opinion. They found a loose nut and tightened it at no charge. I never had an issue over years of driving after the nut was tightened. read more

I'll have to admit I wasn't expecting a pleasant experience when getting ready to buy a new car. Like many people I was dreading going to the dealership and spending 3-4 hours working with the salesman. Wow was I surprised! When I went to Bowman Chevrolet I was greeted promptly by Brian Crawford. He was very cordial and ready to help me attain what I was looking for. I wanted to order a new 2024 Chevy Trax. Most dealerships that I had visited early in the year didn't even know how to order one since they were so new. That wasn't a problem for Brian. He sat down with me and priced one out even before the dealership could actually submit the order. As soon as he was able, he submitted an order with our preferred options. He gave us monthly updates where the car was in the build and delivery cycle throughout the time we were waiting. When the car was finally delivered we were able to go though the purchasing process and leave the dealership in record time. I can't say enough good things about the experience or the way Brian handled the transaction. Kudos to Brian and Bowman Chevrolet! My car broke down on I75, and I did an internet search for the nearest Chevy dealership. Bowman was less than two miles from me, so I was able to restart my car, and limped into its service department without an appointment. The service department was amazing! They were very understanding, and sympathetic to my circumstances. They performed a diagnostic and upon my request, thoroughly checked out my car. It was not good news, and the repairs were extensive for my old car. I had been considering getting a new car for a little while anyway, so I thought this was a good time to do so. I felt right at home at this dealership. Very friendly staff. My salesman, Justin Thrift, treated me like family. He quickly made himself available (they were in a meeting) to help me secure a new vehicle. He got on the computer right away to search the inventory for what I wanted. He didn't pressure me with any sales tactics, and was very kind. He thoroughly explained all aspects of the vehicle, and answered all of my questions. I'll definitely get my next vehicle from Bowman, and specifically Justin. I left the dealership with a smile on my face. read more

This was our second lease and once again they exceeded our expectations! We knew exactly what we wanted and gave three dealerships the chance to earn our business. We ask for exact numbers regarding price, 12k-15k miles, and 2yr or 3yr. from all 3 dealers, and once again the other dealers give rough numbers and Bowmans gives exact numbers. They beat the others by enough to make a difference, and this is all done without even stepping foot in the dealership. Once there, the paperwork was 100% of what we were told, which is all anyone ask for.They communicate perfectly, send very detailed e-mail, never an attitude to mundane questions. Our sales women were Candice Collins for our first lease and a combination due to an emergency, if Candice and Ashley Putnam. Ashley took over near the beginning, and it was seamless. Our Bowman representative, Chaz, is the nicest and non-pressuring salesman that we have ever had experience with in buying/leasing a car. He did not deter from keeping us within our monthly budget and we received a wonderful lease on a 2017 Equinox as promised by him. He was also very easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. He was referred to us by a friend who had also just leased a 2017 Equinox from Chaz and we are very happy to have asked for him. The dealership waiting area was also clean, comfortable and had plenty of cookies, water, pop and popcorn to keep us going while waiting for our new car. We have since referred 3 of our own friends to go to Bowman and ask for Chaz when they are ready to purchase/lease their own new vehicle. I had the pleasure of working with Bianca Dooley on the lease of my 2022 Silverado 1500. I found it refreshing that by going on their website and requesting a quote on a vehicle that I was contacted within a couple hours by Bianca asking me exactly what I wanted and giving me options and pricing. This was huge for me because I've been dealing with dealerships that won't give me a actual price over the phone and tell me "You have to come in to get pricing". Bianca and Bowman Chevrolet went above and beyond in my opinion of making the entire process easy and pain free. Everyone I came into contact with from sales to the financing department did everything in their power to make it a quick and easy transaction. This is my first GM purchase in about 12 years and with this kind of service I don't think it will be my last.
