After an unfortunate lapse in payment for my auto insurance which was a first in over 7 years as a loyal customer of Progressive, I had my policy cancelled, and in turn my premiums tripled. Having talked to my then-insurance agent, I was told there was nothing I could do but find a new policy (with the new, much higher rates). Suddenly, I had no option but to look for new policies because of a mistake on my part, which my insurance agent should have warned me about. Having known John for years, I contacted him to see if there was any advice he could give me. He went above and beyond (keeping in mind he's not even my insurance agent!) to speak with progressive, discuss the issue, and after a stressful yet productive meeting, we were able to get my policy back up at the normal rates. He was with me throughout the whole process, expecting nothing back in return. John literally saved me thousands of dollars a year, when other insurance agents had no answer, or desire to help me.
