I had to get a molar extracted and will be getting a implant. Immediately, I got a good impression with Dr Gama. He is easy to ask questions of, informed me of the procedure what to expect and possible complications. It's a spendy procedure but never felt hounded to pay The office is very comfortable and clean. They do not honor Medicare, (who else does this ????) so seniors are expected to pay CASH, including $$ for the appointment to assess financial abilities!!!! I have never been treated so rudely. Other reviews mention extensive waits even with scheduled appointments. Courtesy is expected, but trust is essential, I would never trust this clinic. There are certainly more appropriate Oral Surgeons, but you may have to drive a little further, I certainly will.

My partner (already nervous about having to go under for surgery) finally waking up from anesthesia still coming to should not have to be waking up to graphic conversations about abortion and miscarriages. That is highly inappropriate and inconsiderate. Have some respect for your patients and maybe avoid traumatic conversations around those waking up from anesthesia or better yet in general those who had no say in being involved in those conversations. I highly doubt anyone waking up from anesthesias wants to wake up to traumatic conversations, I know it made my partner highly uncomfortable and want to leave immediately, so maybe some awareness on that could be addressed by higher ups? I can, and do, fault him for the way that he treats patients and families. He was immediately condescending in ways that bug me. The intake process is I efficient in ways that are a serious problem for most people who work (and as such have taken time off of work), which she is both insensitive to and, again, weirdly condescending about. The worst part though, is that the staff deliberately keeps distraught children away from their parents. My daughter was suffering for a good 15 minutes while they bullied her in the back room Instead of just coming to get me from the waiting room, which would've calmed her down in seconds. I feel comfortable recommending Dr Gama for those who are not particularly vulnerable but not for anyone who may feel frightened or overwhelmed, or have other reasons for wanting a caregiver close at hand.

A mayor procedure was planned, involving Dr. Olsen from Smile Missoula, as well as dental surgeon Dr. Holtzen and anesthesiologist Dr. Ochs both from the Cosmetic Arts Center, Missoula. I have epilepsy. All doctors involved were fully briefed and assured me their experience in working with people with epilepsy. Turned out that Dr. Ochs was absolutely not prepared to work with me. He refused anesthesia while I was sitting in the waiting room, all prepped for surgery. All was cancelled even though I had followed each and every step necessary to make the procedure a success. While the surgeon's office refunded the entire amount of my prepaid fees, Dr. Olsen thinks it's justified to keep part of my money for preparatory work. He charged me instead those responsible for the cancellation: Dr. Ochs! Dr. Holtzen! The Cosmetic Arts Center!
