Lovely cosy atmosphere, warmly lit with candles and soft jazz. Perfect for a date or drinks with friends. Top notch classic cocktails (best Negronis and Old Fashioneds in town) as well as a delicious and inspired cocktail menu which changes every season using their homemade syrups, juices and cordials, not to mention top-shelf liquers, spirits and bitters. A well selected beer menu of local and international ales, pilsners, stouts, bocks and IPAs. The staff are super friendly and more than happy to make something to order if you don't find something on the menu (but you most likely will.) The owner is highly knowledgeable, charming and accommodating. Making sure each customer feels right at home. Highly recommended!!

We came here on a Monday night and were absolutely blown away by how amazing the cocktails were. The restaurant itself was cozy and the barstaff were super friendly and were more than happy to engage in conversation. They played old jazz and everything was lit by candle light. I had gotten a Monkey Shoulder on the rocks, while my friend had the Campfire, which literally tasted like a smokey campfire and topped with a toasted marshmallow.

Glassware worthy of serving bourbon. Brickwork is a sweet backdrop to the Jazz standard tunes and swirling cigarette smoke curling around bearded hipsters.

Great selection of top shelf bourbon and rye whiskey! And great music selection as well (Velvet Underground at the moment).

I visited on a Wednesday off season , so the weather was a bit cold, and therefore there was no line or need to wait. There is a cover to enter, and it is hard to find, but once you are there it is totally worth it. The decorations , furniture, and ambiance are great and I really appreciated the cell phone ordering system using the pager. It makes everything SO MUCH EASIER. no need to fight your way to the bar to get the attention of a server and wait for him to make the drinks, you just order, pay and wait for your buzzer to let you know when to get the drinks from the counter. Later in the night when the weather got colder we moved inside and were treated to a very fun DJ with great music and an inviting and lit dance floor. Definitely a must for a night out!

It was on the rooftop of a parking garage attached to a mall, and it was a little adventure getting there! We went on a weeknight around shortly after sunset, and it was such a vibe!! It felt a little sketch walking up the ramp of a deserted parking garage but it was all part of the allure, and once we got up to the rooftop, it was a beautiful space decked out with colorful lights, plenty of seating at communal table, and a vibrant crowd. The city views were amazing and it was definitely a highlight of the trip!

On my way to get a drink at a neighboring bar, I saw this place and decided to sit in their cofy vintage furniture outside with a beer. Honestly, the place looks exactly like 3 or 4 other bars that have cropped up in Boddinstrasse: random furniture from the nearest Flohmarkt, just one Pilsner on tap, a shabby paint job and bartenders that are sweet and almost too relaxed. Some people get really annoyed by these type of Berlin bars and frown down upon these sorts of establishments. Personally, I actually enjoy them, especially when comparing them with the type of sterile bars popping up in Mitte. Everything is nicely understated and the atmosphere is condusive for a nice chat with a group of friends around some cheap beers. After all - what more do you really need? They seem to have some freshly-squeezed lemonade on the menu, but I will have to come back another time to give it a shot.

At firstwhen we stood in front of it we were hesitant to go in. Do not hesitate!! Very cozy atmosphere and all the tables have candles and a fresh rose!
