Problem for them, I have met my deductible, it's good coverage BCBS. Told doctor will not see me unless I pay. I cancelled everything and will not go to them again. I get people scam and do not pay but provide me something to help me understand.

I got a referral from my primary to see Dr. Rossi at Mokena foot and ankle without knowing a single thing about him. I called the office a week ahead of time and was able to get an appointment on the following Saturday. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork and ended up seeing Dr. Rossi 30 minutes past my appointment time. He apologized for the long wait when he finally walked in to see me. That was refreshing because most doctors don't even bother to say anything. I guess they figure long waits are expected and acceptable. Dr. Rossi was upbeat and affable. I found him attractive with a warm and inviting smile. I liked him immediately. He took his time during the exam to explain everything throughly which was awesome. He explained why I'd come to have trouble with my foot and the treatment options available. He took the time to ask how I felt about the options he'd presented and offered his medical opinion based on my responses. By the end of the visit we'd discussed a course of action and what I could expect during a follow-up visit. He offered advice on new shoe options and exercise tips. The office has a warm feel to it. It's modern and nicely decorated. It was easy to find and offers ample parking. I was able to make a Saturday appointment which is rare for a specialist but unfortunately the receptionist stated that there would be no more weekend hours available in the near future.

I researched for awhile until I came upon this business. Woman owned and the reviews in general seemed pretty good so I had my first visit out of 3 on 10/1/24 with Dr. Whitney Castle. This is one of the reviews where it's only fair to give stars by category. Outside Location - 5 stars - Very visible blue awning sign to find the business. There is street parking right in front of the establishment. Inside Location - 5 stars - This business is super clean and beautifully decorated. It doesn't even look like a business. Really pretty inside with a sparkly chandelier right at the entrance. Each patient room has a large pad on the floor for hygiene purposes. Front Office Receptionist - 5 stars - Victoria is friendly and professional. Equipment - 5 stars - I had to get x-rays of my feet and they had a big machine in the back. Dr. Whitney Castle - 2.5 stars - she was a very good listener as to what my issues were. 1st visit on 10/1/24, she prescribed oral medication for the pain and inflammation. 2nd visit on 10/15/24 the medication helped tremendously and I showed great improvement and was hopeful. It was discussed with me in both visit 1 and visit 2 what my possible options are if the first plan didn't work which was getting a series of injections to help with the pain/inflammation. 3rd visit on 11/12/24 the pain and inflammation was back. Dr. Castle mentioned physical therapy which to me was odd because that wasn't a plan option mentioned before and I had already done therapy once that was prescribed by the prior podiatrist. I reminded her of the discussion she had with me regarding the option of an injection and she explained it's on order with a new vendor but not available. She told me when it comes in stock, they will contact me and it can be administered in several visits while taking advantage of outside physical therapy. I was disappointed but did as she instructed and did 10 sessions of additional physical therapy. On 12/3/24, I followed up by calling the business to see if the injection medication had come in. Victoria informed me that it wasn't here yet but soon as it's coming from Europe. "Europe" I exclaimed?! I asked what kind of wait time are we talking about, a couple of weeks, a couple of months? She told me that it should be a couple of weeks, not months and they would call me when it was available. It has now been a month since following up and over 7 weeks since my last appointment. I have finished the physical therapy and no one has called me. I feel very blown off - why tell me about a helpful treatment that isn't available? It doesn't leave a very good feeling at all. Not sure that I will return.

I was a patient of Dr. Ray for several years. I have toenail fungus and he tried to help (with no…read moreluck) with different methods (drugs, toenail removal, nail bed scraping). I know fungus can be hard to get rid of so I wasn't upset with him for that but... I had an ingrown toenail and went to see him. He decided that the best course of action was to cut 1/4 of my nail off and cauterize. This has resulted in an open side to my nail that is not only unattractive but the fungus was able to go further down my toenail... ok, no big deal at my age and with my fungus. My daughter who 20ish with beautiful feet and nails went to see him because she got an infection at a nail salon when on vacation. I told her don't let him cut her nail off. She was there an hour and I was starting to get concerned so I called her. She said that he was going to cut her nail and cauterize... I told her to leave. She said she already allowed him to numb her toe... I told her "GET OUT!" She left with a numb toe. She put Neosporin on her toenail for three days and the infection was cleared up.
