I got a referral from my primary to see Dr. Rossi at Mokena foot and ankle without knowing a single thing about him. I called the office a week ahead of time and was able to get an appointment on the following Saturday. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork and ended up seeing Dr. Rossi 30 minutes past my appointment time. He apologized for the long wait when he finally walked in to see me. That was refreshing because most doctors don't even bother to say anything. I guess they figure long waits are expected and acceptable. Dr. Rossi was upbeat and affable. I found him attractive with a warm and inviting smile. I liked him immediately. He took his time during the exam to explain everything throughly which was awesome. He explained why I'd come to have trouble with my foot and the treatment options available. He took the time to ask how I felt about the options he'd presented and offered his medical opinion based on my responses. By the end of the visit we'd discussed a course of action and what I could expect during a follow-up visit. He offered advice on new shoe options and exercise tips. The office has a warm feel to it. It's modern and nicely decorated. It was easy to find and offers ample parking. I was able to make a Saturday appointment which is rare for a specialist but unfortunately the receptionist stated that there would be no more weekend hours available in the near future.

From the day of the initial consultation to the surgeries and post-op visits, I was treated both courteously and professionally by everyone (including the doctor's assistants and the ladies who work at the front desk). Before the surgeries, Dr. Narcissi explained what I could expect during and after the procedures. Dr. Narcissi took the time to thoroughly answer each of my 16 questions (SERIOUSLY, all 16). I knew then that I was in good hands. The care I received from Dr. Narcissi and his team was excellent. I wish there was some way to post before and after pictures of my feet. They are beautiful!! They ask you to come in for follow-ups that are not needed and charge when it was not needed, not requested. You'll also sit there for an hour before you see anyone. The office is way too small to sit for a service or appointment that's made at least a week in advance.

Dr Buck placed an artificial joint in my big toe. After explicitly following his post-op…read moreinstructions, the joint quickly became displaced. Starting "I've never seen that before", he took me back to the operating room to repair the failed joint. After the second surgery, he gave me a small portion of the implant and said, "I'm not sure what happened or how to fix it but I removed a portion of it". I then went to another podiatrist who successfully removed the implant and replaced it with a new one. I understad any surgeon can have postoperative complications, but not being able to fix an isssue they create is clearly problematic. Also, beware of "Reputation Defender" software, they can make anyone look good.

Specifically, he charged me for just picking up the customized soles. When asked about it, his office stated that he charged me for "showing me how to use the soles". Additionally, the secretary (Elaine) was very unprofessional when answering any question regarding picking up my health records. I have reported this office to my insurance and to the Illinois Attorney General's office for fraudulent activity.

I was a patient of Dr. Ray for several years. I have toenail fungus and he tried to help (with no…read moreluck) with different methods (drugs, toenail removal, nail bed scraping). I know fungus can be hard to get rid of so I wasn't upset with him for that but... I had an ingrown toenail and went to see him. He decided that the best course of action was to cut 1/4 of my nail off and cauterize. This has resulted in an open side to my nail that is not only unattractive but the fungus was able to go further down my toenail... ok, no big deal at my age and with my fungus. My daughter who 20ish with beautiful feet and nails went to see him because she got an infection at a nail salon when on vacation. I told her don't let him cut her nail off. She was there an hour and I was starting to get concerned so I called her. She said that he was going to cut her nail and cauterize... I told her to leave. She said she already allowed him to numb her toe... I told her "GET OUT!" She left with a numb toe. She put Neosporin on her toenail for three days and the infection was cleared up.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic to my family or friends for this very reason I would appreciate if the number could be updated this way I can call and make an appointment soon. He should have said our inserts for your son's feet are 800$. Today they couldn't see me because I have not payed my previous and only visit fee from about month ago. I…read moreliterally stumbled into this office with excruciating plantar fasciitis pain when I first met Dr. Stepnoski and he helped me through this foot issue. Now I'm back again seeing him as we are dealing with Gout symptoms. Dr. Stepnoski is an amazing doctor who is very charismatic and compassionate. He listens to a patient and engages you in conversation to determine the best treatment plan for your condition. He also incorporates education time into the visit to make sure the patient understands the causes and the solutions for their problems.
