This is going to be a long review but I feel it is truly necessary to show how great of an attorney John Simonian truly is. My story begins with hiring another attorney I had found in local advertisement. After my initial brief consultation, I gave this attorney a retainer. For several months after, I could not get in contact with this lawyer. I went to his office, I left several messages. It was clear that this lawyer and my money were gone. At this point, I had little funds and I was a week away from having my license and registration suspended. So wearily, I went to google and found John Simonian. My consultation was so thorough, especially in comparison to my first experience. From credit checks (which the first attorney did not do) to full explanations of all my options, I knew I found the right attorney. Not only was he and his staff thorough and knowledgeable but they were so understanding of my situation as a single mother and financial struggles. John worked with me as far as paying for his fees. I even almost sold my car to pay for his services but John wouldn't let me do that. He knew my family relied on my vehicle. So we came up with an alternative plan. I successfully filed bankruptcy and have a fresh start and can finally breathe again for the first time in years. John uses his skill to change lives. Looking back at the bankruptcy process it is very intimidating. It is a maze of stress, and when you come to the point at which you admit to yourself that you are in trouble, that it will not get better, you need someone who is honorable, someone who listens, and someone who is very intelligent about the process you are going through. I never thought I would say this about a lawyer, but Atty Simonian was everything I could have hoped for and more. I was humiliated, depressed, and embarrassed to even be thinking about declaring bankruptcy, but John understood that bad things happen to good people, and even to smart people who make mostly good decisions along the way. We would like to take a moment to recommend John Simonian as an exceptional bankruptcy lawyer. We cannot begin to tell you how low we felt to come to the realization that due to our own poor planning and health issues which reduced our income to one paycheck, we were in financial ruin. I met Attorney Simonian in July of 2015 and whenever I think back all I can do is smile. We all know trying to find an attorney who is personable and empathetic is almost impossible now. Well, after my first consultation with Attorney Simonian I knew I hit the jack pot because he is just that. John handled all of needs in a very out standing, professional, unjudgemental, respectfull fashion. He made sure that I was informed of every thing all the time. He met with me personally and got back to me in a timely manner throughout the process. There is a fair amount of paperwork in clearing debt through the court system. He was thorough and patient going over everything and making sure that the filing was correct. Attorney Simonian has done this many times before so I was confident in his suggestion about the best course of action to take. He understood my circumstances and I did not feel any judgment.
