The store was sparse, filled with light and the homewares colour coded against the wall. That got my wife's attention as she loves colourful, well designed homewares. Everything was reasonably priced too. There also was a dinner table set out early with christmas decor and another table with nice organic jewellery pieces on it. There was even a little patio out the back where you can sit and try on shoes (as the friendly sales assistant suggests) as well as a bookshelf near the doorway with a range of wallpaper which had cool designs. My eye was caught initially by the fantastical window display being painted by an afro wielding staff member. Every aspect of the shop was both quirky and feminine... From the carefully thought out visual merchandising to the smooth Jazz soundtrack. I spent some time in here trying on things and perusing the racks with the attentive help of two beautiful and charismatic sales assistants. Both I will add, impeccably dressed from head to toe. The designs are unique with a nod to bygone eras. The designer has obviously thought about the modern woman with styles and cuts suitable for a myriad of body types. The boutique also has an extensive collection of shoes and accessories to finish of the look. I left with a bundle of frocks in hand, a smile on my face and a rekindled love for Newtown and all it's quirkiness.

I came here to get my hotstamp that I collect from various LV locations as my own souvenir when I visit. Everyone was amazed by my collection and to know about other LV locations also having stamps. We were later told that Sydney gets LV items the slowest compared to other countries, as well as in the most limited quantities. Prices are cheaper than the US, but a little more than Europe. Our SA was non-Asian but spoke Mandarin, which was very cool.

The product assortment is beautifully curated. The last time I was there the lady that served me was really helpful. I was looking to buy a shirt. She showed me the whole collection and explained the differences in each of the shirts. Her knowledge of the products they sell was incredible. They take a very service orientated approach to sales, which I love. They even offered me a cup of tea or coffee while I was viewing the collection. I will definitely be coming back. No problems they said, the other 2 are in Melbourne so we'll have them sent up. ELEVEN days later I got a call saying my T shirt (singular) had arrived so I said that I was expecting 2 of them. The not-so-switched-on salesgirl said she'd look into it and get back to me but she never did. So I went in today to pick them/it up and was told that there were in fact 2 identical T-shirts but they were from different seasons so I could have the older one at 30% off but the newer one would be full price. I asked another not-so-switched on salesgirl if she could check with the manager if I could get them both for the price I paid for the first one so off she went to ask. When she came back a fair while later she said that the T-shirt should never have been marked down in the first place and that I'd have to pay full price for both of them. In light of all the stuffing around, delays and the fact that I've bought a fair bit from them, I felt that this was pretty shabby service so I told them they could keep both of them. I will not be back. Anytime management wonder why business is so bad, and where all their customers went (online) just take a look at the 2nd rate service, inflated prices and ever diminishing product offering for your answer. Oh, and by the way if you now want to pay with Amex, that'll be an additional 3% surcharge. Does ANY online store do that? I think not.
