Went into this establishment this morning with my boyfriend, who's been looking for a good vape mod to help him quit smoking cigarettes. The employee persuaded him to purchase a mod that neither of us have previously heard of, but he kept talking it up. When my boyfriend asked if one of the juices available for it would be comparable to menthol cigarettes (which is what he smoked), the employee responded by saying that he "doesn't know" because he "doesn't compare vapes to cigs" which sounded silly because isn't that the whole point of these things? Lol but nonetheless, we made the purchase. After using it for a couple hours, he realized how terrible this product is. We came back in just a couple hours later and kindly explained what happened to a different employee working, who claimed to be the owner. He said he couldn't refund the product because it had already been used. Although this seems obviously unfair because we were falsely persuaded by someone who clearly didn't know much about the product, we understood because the policy makes sense. So my boyfriend asked if there would be anything else he could do for us (like a discount on another product for example). He said he would do absolutely nothing to help because this is our "loss to take, not his." This comment was extremely surprising...is this the way to run a business? After going back and forth for a few minutes, we decided to leave and the owner was completely fine with letting us do so.
