Finer Point Renovations helped update a few things in our 27 year-old home. We learned from them…read morethat when it comes to the quality of the home, it's all about the little things. We had some baseboards/trim that were worn that we had Finer Point replace in some rooms. The work was done precisely and changed the whole look of the room! They painted doors that did not match the color of the new trim as well. They also fixed a bedroom door that was crooked. We spent years having the forcefully open and close that door, and today is opens so easily! They also installed two new vanities. We trusted their decisions when it came to picking out which vanities should be installed. They were simple and modern, and are of nice quality. In addition, they painted one of our bedrooms. I have very high expectations of how a room is painted, but they did a fantastic job! They painted perfectly "in the lines" if that makes sense. They also tightened up our banister that was loose for years. Our home is a safer, more beautiful place because if it. Unfortunately, when we drove to Weaver Furniture Barn, she wasn't working. The good news was that Paul was there and has been amazing. He has been working above and below to get the right Amish bedroom furniture that matches what we bought back in 2013 from a now closed store. He called one builder to make sure the items were built like we thought we saw on pictures on-line because he wanted to make sure that if we ordered them, that they would be what we expected, that and we'd be happy. He also called another builder to see if that builder could make a top that matched our furniture, and said that if that builder could not, he would build it for us for a very nominal charge. When it's time to buy living room furniture, we will be back for sure. The price for Amish furniture may be a slightly higher than what you get at all big box furniture stores, but it will last forever, and not only can you choose the wood your furniture is made of, but you also pick the stain color or paint color.

He ignored my phone calls to try and work out what ever created the problem. Here is what happened: Dave came to clear leaves from my yard. He was all done, except for collecting the leaves. He got the backyard in his truck bed and pulled around to the front, to get the rest. I cut my eye and had to get to the eye doctor right away. Dave had parked me in, so he had to move his truck. Before he moved the truck, he told me what I owed him. I paid him more than I owed him. He said he would leave the change in the grill. I would have gotten the change and paid himthe exact amount, if it weren't for my eye. He piled the leaves from the front yard up against the fence and driveway. Two estimates to remove the pile came to $30.00 each. I'm on a limited income and can't afford to pay for something twice, plus add in the change Dave kept. If I did something wrong, I don't know it. I gave him every chance to discuss it with me. I now think the worst of him. I give him zero stars and he had done such good work, up until he screwed me over. (I had to give him one star to post my review) ------------ Approximately 30 minutes after I posted the above review, Dave from Ground Zero sent me a message telling me I was unprofessional for posting. I wondered what scenario would play out: I would get my money and he'd remove the leaves. I'd get my money and be reimbursed for the leaves. I'd get stiffed for both. I know what is the Professional solution, I wonder if Dave knows. I couldn't be unprofessional for writing nothing but the facts. He claims I am, because he was out of state at a funeral. He was at this funeral for two weeks. He could have found time to answer my phone calls or make a 2 minute call himself. Better yet, he could have finished the job, got change at the corner bank and been done with it. But that didn't happen, so there is a problem. If he sees me as the villain, no amount of sense will change his mindset. I hope to God Dave understands the thruth. I don't like paying for something I don't get.

The white and natural maple looks great, construction is first class, the fit is precise to our walls, hinges and pulls are excellent!
