I sensed he was struggling to do as I ask but when he started trimming my top, I said something. He tried to justify it by saying he was blending but why does getting hair off my neck and ears require blending my hair on top of my head? He took as much as 2 inches in some areas. I am now stuck trying to keep my short hair out of my face for the next 5 weeks, even with hair product. I asked if they could turn the music down some and he did. Moments later a young guy walks out and speaks to me. He looked so young I asked how long he had been doing hair. He replied a year or two. This made me uncomfortable for a couple of reasons. First was he was not sure how long he had been cutting hair and I'm not sure he was licensed to do so. Second was because Barbers and stylist have always had difficulty cutting my hair due to my numerous calics. I told him I going to pass and apologized. We asked for a haircut with a lightning bolt. Something being offered by another barber to another kid as we walked in. Barber we got said he didn't do those. Asked for something else, that was a problem too. He have very little interaction with ky son while cutting. We usually go to Enterprise barber or the Shop. Barber gave my son a nice cut although not anything near what we went in for. As I'm sitting there I see an atm machine. Realizing I only brought my credit card with me I ask "what methods of payment do you take" "only cash" I am scrambling to figure out what to do. He offers Zelle... I do not have Zelle. I'm scrambling for a good 30 minutes trying to find anyone that could pay them, as by this point my son already has been cut. This was a horrible experience and I will never return. The stylist apparently took…read morethis very literally, and just wet my hair down without shampooing, cut it, and blow dried it--and not thoroughly, either, so my hair was greasy and still damp when I left. She did not use a round brush or any hair product and did not attempt to style my hair in any way. But this was the only part she took literally, because when we discussed what I wanted, I asked for a "longer bob," showing her the picture of a blonde with a long bob several inches past her shoulders, "but with more of a side bang, like this," showing her a picture of a brunette with a shorter bob and a more dramatic side bang. When she asked to confirm the length, I told her I wanted it just PAST my shoulders. She did not ask any further questions and proceeded to cut my hair just ABOVE my shoulders. When I realized what she had done, it was too late. I was informed at checkout when I handed her my credit card that they only take cash or check.
