The gentleman who assisted me at the office's counter this afternoon was extremely impudent and condescending. My specific need and request for a replacement governor spring for my nearly-new lawnmower became an obvious point-of-departure outside his normal realm of expertise and understanding ... Mom and pop place, they are both pretty sour. The older lady with white (maybe supposed to be blonde?) hair goes out of her way to be confrontational. I am a war veteran with severe hearing loss; the old lady thought that the handicap was fair game to make fun of. Won't throw my business to folks like that. I was quite offended by my treatment at John's Mower Hospital and I do not intend to do any further business with them. In my recent move to McMinnville, two small clips about the size of of paper clips, which are part of my push-mower, were lost. I use the push-mower in small places around the corner of my yard. I have replaced the clips previously and I know they cost about 10 cents a piece. A shop in Portland just gave them to me at no charge. John's Mower Hostpital charged me four dollars for the pair! That was bad enough, but two different staff members went out of their way to make it clear that they did not want any non-motoized equipment on or near their establishment. They were rude. My new neighbor said to avoid the shop and I intend to do so in the future. read more

John's mower hospital in McMinnville in my opinion has the best outstanding and professional appearance business in McMinnville and customer service. I have known john for years and has never failed me in repairs to my units and has always let me know when it's time to buy another one because of it costing to much to repair Thanks John for all the help Steve Gale read more

"John" repaired my lawn mower quickly and satisfactorily, but he is the rudest, most insulting service person with whom I have ever done business. He is arrogant, patronizing, and very expensive. The set up of the shop makes it difficult to access. In the future, if I need lawn mower repair and no one else is available in McMinnville, I will drive to Salem or Portland rather than return to John's Mower Hospital. Unfortunately, the kind, friendly, expert repairman I patronized previously passed away. read more
