DO NOT USE! We were recommended to this shop by our guides at our bear camp this past week. The one we took to Sommers Sausage Shop was the larger bear (at least 50lbs heavier) and we got a milk crate worth of meat. The bear was shot in the neck and we were told that the ribs were not saveable. The bear did not tree and there was not not damage to his ribs when we took it in. The second bear (the smaller one) was taken to a butcher closer to home. We were just told that we will get about 80lbs of meat from it, which is far more than what we received from the larger one. Not only did we not get all of the meat, YES, I am accusing Sommers Sausage Shop of theft. We were also given the worst services including being asked to buy one of the employees alcohol to be able to "rush" our bear being processed for us. Our guides at our bear camp recommended us to Sommers Sausage Shop because they were told they could do fast turnarounds for their customers.

I'll start with the positives, staff was incredibly nice, the location is best in Iron River and the building and parking lot are super clean. The negatives are the menus don't list prices. My wife and I ordered 2 subs and 2 drinks for $37. No fries, no chips, no refills. When i got my "philly steak" sub, there was no steak. The worker told me their "steak" was great. My sandwich was warm bread (inside not toasted or grilled at all) with a slab of microwaved roast beef on it with hot mayonnaise and cheese. I sent the pic to my family in Philadelphia and we all had a good laugh for a half hour. By the end of the first half of thr sandwich, I had to stop before I nearly puked on the floor. No onions, no peppers, just a piece of bread with warm roast beef, a slice of cheese and mayo.
