We needed a shower insert replaced and called this company. They came out when my wife was home and…read moresaid they could replace it all for $1500. He didn't measure anything and just ordered one. It came in and they removed the old door and shower. The insert they installed wasn't the same size(probably because nothing was measured) so it didn't meet up with the 2x4 and instead of putting one in they jerry rigged some apparatus to attach the bottom and top corners but no support in the middle. Also the rigged attach points were loose and one shattered the block and was barely hanging on. The insert itself wasn't even and was too high on one side. When I inquired about the door he told me "we aren't glass guys we don't do doors. I assumed that shower doors were part of showers especially when you removed one. Maybe it should have been made clear prior to doing the work. After the install he informs me that they stashed the old doors behind my house. He said they can't take them because they have no where to dump it. I called a few companies to come repair the drywall and they all said that whoever installed the shower did a horrible job and didn't secure it. I sent video and pics to them. The receptionist was very nice throughout the whole ordeal. She contacted the owner and he said he could come put 2x4s behind it to secure it. My problem is that why wouldn't you do that to begin with if you knew that not having 2x4s wouldn't sufficiently support it. I declined and chose another company to fix it, they even had to remove the shower walls in order to fix it all correctly. They got my $1500 but at least I know who not to call from now on. I would have gladly paid more in order to get it done right.

Not only did A STATE PLUMBING discover that the first plumber misdiagnosed the leak, but found the actual leak, which was to a completely separate line, and did the necessary repairs. These guys were professional, trustworthy, and worked 10x more efficiently than the first company I hired. These guys truly aim to make their customers happy, not line their pockets. We were told they would come out in about 3 months to fix it after the dirt had time to dry. After several phone calls and messages they finally came out, 10 months later and smoothed it over a little. It is still a mess. Huge pile of dirt, barely smoothed over. I don't know what we will have to do to fix it but it is totally unacceptable. I wonder if it would be ok to leave their yard in this mess.

In May of 2013 Russaw replaced a 2 ton unit that was 10 years old and that had worked fine until…read morethe compressor quit. They installed the unit and within a month the compressor was out on it as well. Even though it was only a month old and under warranty they still charged me a service call, for which i paid. Then at this time, they said i had a leak in the pipe in the wall and would need to be replaced , so i did so. Paid again. Within 2 months , my unit wasn't working and they came out and said its out of freon, so they did another test (#3) and said my coil was leaking and that i needed a new coil so i went on and paid them to replace the whole blower unit including the coils. Well, you would think, now after 3 full summers , everything but the duct work has been replaced it would be working great. Wrong! They have made atleast 6 more trips to my home and each time puts freon in and tries to charge me and tells me the reason its not working is the ductwork is the wrong size and it needs to be rerun. (because that makes it leak freon) lol! I explain every time that this unit has never worked properly and i shouldn't be charged. Last week it quit cooling again, so i called another company to ck it, surprise, its low on freon again, paid them to fill it. I have met with the owner and offered to pay for a whole new unit, ductwork,everything per their specs, less the $ i have put into this unit. Said he would consider it and after several attempts to get this settled, no such luck. Thinking this would be a neutral way for both of us to resolve the issue and i have an air conditioner that would work for more than 30 days at at time. This last time, they even threatened to turn me over to a collection attorney for a bill that was to ck and refill freon in this same unit. Really! Last summer i purchased a new 4 ton unit for my 1st floor from another HVAC company and works great. The unit is a Trane 20 seer dual compressor unit. Its the bomb! It reached 102 with high humidity one day this summer and it never missed a beat, it froze me out of my home. It would pretty much cool as much as you want. Bad news its very pricey , but as of now, worth every dime!!!! Looks like i will be call this HVAC company to install another one of these upstairs to replace this 2 ton piece of junk!
