Just went in there to a guy who would not believe I was from California. Saying that most people who say that lie. I would not recommend shopping here due to profiling. I told him I lived in Hollywood and he still said smart remarks and would not believe cause I am African- American. I guess cause I am my color I could not be deemed as substance with an income. Service is good here for the most part, they're fast at putting together mobile orders but I don't really care for their selection. And their deals are based on which day it is, which is good if you like stuff other than flower. This is more of a quick stop for me if I'm out of what I usually pick up from Zips. I have had 1 experience of a bud tender being a bit rude to the point where I complained but the manager was quick to assist me and even provided me with a discount for the inconvenience on my next purchase, so that I did appreciate. Plus too he's helped me a few times & is extremely nice, every other bud tender here is cool too. I'll recommend this over the Stash box any day. I will say, if you want to be quick I would place a mobile order 15-30 mins before you leave your crib. They always have mine ready when I come in. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. I've been coming to Joint Rivers Dispensary all week with no issues, but this time the staff was completely disrespectful and unwelcoming. As soon as I arrived, they refused to let me in because my ID has a hole punched in it -- even though it's still valid and has been accepted there before. I tried to explain, but they were dismissive and rude. After driving all the way there, they ended up wasting my time and gas for no good reason. It's frustrating to be treated this way after being a repeat customer. This was unprofessional and left a really bad impression. The building is really nice and clean, I liked that they have a one way system with the doors and everything is labeled clearly. The staff were really nice and they have a huge selection of different products to choose from, I liked that prices were clearly marked. A few items are a bit higher price than other dispensaries, but not much, and they have better deals on a daily basis than other dispensaries who pick and choose which brands get a discount. This has to be one of my favorite Cannabis stores. It's beautiful, lots of parking. Great to actually shop the cases of product. Budtenders are most helpful and so nice. I am disappointed with my first experience. I searched and found a product from their website. Then called the store to find out if they had that item on stock. "So i ask a simple question, do you guys carry the item 'x' ?" First lady tells me go search online. So i told her i did and i was trying to find out if they had that item on stock. Then she says she doesn't know and passes the call over to a second lady. The second lady says she does not know if they carry the item 'x'. Then says just come in the store to find out. All they had to do was put me on a brief hold and searched for the product. But they refused to do the bare minimum as a service worker. It was obvious those two ladies were too lazy to uphold to a minimum standard. I hope you the business owner hear this voice and prevent your uncaring employee from deterring potential customers through the phone. read more

I've been here multiple times and never got a discount, also there's no line so the tender pick who they serve first who ever they want... I was so excited by the selection they had and it's really nice inside. I would have given it a five star however, some of the workers don't listen completely to the customers. I asked for a red tree bong that was in their display case. I was already at the cash register so I couldn't see which one he was grabbing. The guy said he understood went and grabbed it. Instead of clarifying with me that he grabbed the right one he instantly took it to the back and wrapped it. Unfortunately we were sold the incorrect one and didn't know it. The worst part is that I got stuck with it because state laws won't let them exchange it for the right one. The best part that turned this review from a two star to a four star is the manager was willing to make the situation right for me in the end. She went above and behind her job duties and made the situation better for me. read more

Tuesday 4.14.2020 Since I am high risk at catching Covid 19 due to medical issues, I do everything in my control to not go into any public establishments. I was elated to find that Joint Rivers had a drive thru. I placed an order using there website as instructed and shortly thereafter received a text message stating that my order was ready and to proceed to the "online order pickup lane". After driving down from Federal Way only to find the drive thru not opened and a parking cone outside the front door with a hand written note that reads "online order pickup lane". I pulled up and was told by the person checking ID's at the front door the "online order pickup lane" was inside the building. I then went home and called Joint Rivers only being able to reach an automated voice mail. I then sent an email thru their website expressing my disappointment and never received a response. I drove down again later on Tuesday hopping to find the Drive Thru opened only to be disappointed again. Thursday 4.16.2020 I decided to place another order using their website hopping the drive thru was opened only to once again be disappointed finding the drive thru closed and the cone at the front door with the note "online order pickup lane" still there and several people in line with no masks and not practicing social distancing. Three times I have been to Joint Rivers and left empty handed. Three attempted phone calls trying to reach out to Joint Rivers only to be addressed by a voice message machine. Three time going to Joint Rivers only to find the Drive Thru not opened. I will not be wasting any more of my time or gas trying to spend my money at this establishment and will encourage my friends and relatives to do the same. Thanks Joint Rivers for wasting my time. Had another great experience today. I've been here many times because they have the best service and widest selection of all the dispensaries I've visited, never had a cartridge fail from here. I'm very shy and don't do well around rude people who try to push product I don't want on me, and unlike some other South King county dispensaries they never do that here! I'm not a novice and I enjoy looking at the variety, and the store is set up with nice display sections by product type/brand. I went here throughout the pandemic (when they reopened) for online orders and they took my temperature/enforced masks/had plenty of sanitizer. The online menu is very user friendly as well. Anyway, don't read too much into the bad reviews (I was surprised!) because most of them seem to be complaints about Joint Rivers following LCB law.
