Wilson is lucky to have such a wonderful shoe store. I recently had a great return/store credit experience. I bought some boots that I loved in the store, but they just didn't love me or my outfits at home. Since I got them on sale I didn't think I could return them, but asked for a store credit. The owner graciously gave me a store credit that I need to use within six months. That's pretty straightforward. Very disappointing. I received 2 gift certificates from this store. Went in today for the 5th time to try to buy something. (The first 4 times they were closed during normal hours). I found that the gift certificates expire after 6 months. The owner offered to let me redeem half the amount, although 2 of the times that I came and found them closed were within the 6 months after purchase. Because the shoes are all at or above the amount she would let me redeem, I would end up paying her more. Since she received much more than that, I decided it really wasn't worth it. People here are very rude and snooty. Their Dansko shoe selection leaves something to be desired. Go to Amy's Hallmark in Rocky Mount if you want Danskos. Much better selection. Oh, and JoliAn's return policy is that they don't have one. They make it up as they go. I bought some shoes from here, 2 days later I took them back, and they wanted to give me the run around. Pointed out a sign that said "No returns on sale merchandise" and tried to tell me that meant any item that was "sold" not an item that was on sale. I argued with them for a solid 10 minutes and they eventually gave me my money back. read more
