This one happened to be and we decided go give it a try. It's a Mediterranean / Turkish cafe / bar with lots of small plates and things. As it is directly opposite the theatre it probably gets a lot of pre show and post show audiences. They have a massive mezze bar with tons of choices to pick from. For €12 you can get a plate of 8 different Mezze and you can either go to the counter and make your own choices or ask the staff for a surprise plate. We decided to share one of these for lunch and it was really good. I also had a lentil soup and that was nice and flavourful. They also served nice turkish bread with the food. Service here is quite friendly and prompt. As I could not find this business on Yelp I have set it up. Not sure how long this place has been there but some of the stuff they have has Opera Bar printed on them. I would happily come back here any day. I love Mezze plates and could happily eat it every day :-)

The atmosphere is always nice, the staff is always kind and friendly, and the restaurant is always hygienic, especially its "mysterious-looking" restroom. :) Based on my "all-you-can-eat" experiences, I can say that Kugelfisch is not the best spot to have sushi in town but is serving decent sushi for a not-so-reasonable price. The "all-you-can-eat" option costs about 14 Euros and includes a cup of green tea, unlimited sushi and miso soup. Miso soup tastes good, so does the green tea. Yet, I believe Kugelfisch has a consistency problem when it comes to sushi. The rice is sometimes soggy and sticky, sometimes it is not. Sometimes salmon tastes super, sometimes it tastes sticky as if someone licked the salmon beforehand. Sometimes the octopus is super soft, sometimes it is chewy. Sometimes tuna is like butter, sometimes it is as hard as a rock. I should also note that the quality of vegetarian sushis is lower compared to others. I believe this problem should be addressed ASAP if Kugelfisch wants to have a group of loyal customers. Overall, I recommend Kugelfisch if you'd like to have unlimited and standard sushi in a nice, friendly and cozy atmosphere. I am sure you will leave the place happy if you keep your expectations about the quality of sushi low and accept the fact it's after all the best "all-you-can-eat" quality you can never find somewhere else in Bonn. :)

Not sure why this place wasn't on Yelp yet, so I added it. Great little tapas restaurant with good…read moresized portions (at least compared to tapas in the states). We had the meat & cheese platter, grilled vegetables, bacon wrapped dates, and sangria. Everything was delicious!
